The glow tonic and the oatmeal toner from pixi are my favorites to switch back and forth from. If I don’t have the oatmeal I have a rose water toner I use to put moisture back into my face. She’s right, hydration is most important your skin barrier is everything and if it’s not balanced you’ll never glow or have an even skin tone. She looks so bomb 💚

Honestly I wash my face in the shower and I actually turn the knob to cold specifically to wash my face 🥴 yep I’m one of the odd ones. Lol I love to finish off my shower with cool water. My skin loves it ✨ Oh and I love the Dermalogica daily exfoliant!

I wash my face in the shower, but I turn the temperature down, so I think it’s fine to wash your face in the shower as long as the water isn’t too hot and the pressure isn’t too high.

I use to love one too but I now use a lofa or just a basic hand mit. Im using niacid with retin A by mastoora shop which has Glycolic and Salacylic acid in them so I feel like i dont have to scrub so much. I saved heaps on products after dropping a whole routine and having just 3 products now

Sleeping with sunscreen at night, can actually cause you to break out. It can clog your pores. Sunscreen is formulated differently, compared to moisturisers. Love your skin btw!

I wouldn’t use paper towels to dry all the time cause for everyday, twice a day that’s a lot of paper waste. There’s “un paper” towels or reusable paper towels you can use as an alternative tho! Or I personally air dry or pat with a soft wash cloth I can throw in the laundry 💕💕

If I could add a tip, I would suggest to sleep on a satin or silk pillow case. It helps avoiding wrinkle formation and dehydration of the skin.

Here’s how my oily/combo skin has improved as well that I get compliments when I visit beauty counters: - Charcoal foaming gel cleanser with lukewarm water; dried with tissue - Filorga NCEF Essence (wait a min to absorb) - Givenchy L’Intemporel Blossom Serum - Dr Dennis (or Filorga Oxygen-glow) eye cream - Filorga Hydra-filler mosturiser (this cream is a god-sent - massive hydration boost) - Sunblock (Biore) On Saturdays - exfoliate then Queen Helene mask, then repeat above. Voila!

Great video! Also, if you’re suffering with hyperpigmentation, go for a mineral/physical sunscreen. They deflect UV rays instead of having them being absorbed and converted in the skin such as a chemical sunscreen would do. This will not help protect your current hyperpigmentation from worsening. I use a physical sunscreen from Purito that doesn’t leave a white cast.

Justice Carat It’s called Comfy Water Sun Block. It has a light blue label on it. It’s also formulated with niacinamide and other great soothing ingredients! The Versed Mineral Sunscreen is also a good one.

starfab7 I build up to the amount we’re generally supposed to apply to the face and neck (using the 2 finger rule) instead of putting it on all at once. Then I take time to pat it into my skin and allow it to dissipate after a few minutes. :)

Quick, simple, informative, skin literally glowing!!! Not you calling me out for not moisturizing my oily face 🙈 I’m always scared because greasy skin plus fat forehead just doesn’t mix ... but I’ll try it out.

I must say the paper towel issue is very real, however it is so disrespectful of the environment I just can't 😭😭 Also, for the sunscreen, unfortunately as a dark skin girl the "La roche-posay" leave a little cast on me so I would recommend my all time fave : Shiseido WetForce Stick Protecteur UV Transparent SPF 50+. No white cast, not greasy, super practical to re-apply as you go on your day (no need to use your dirty hands), simply amazing

I was just about to comment that about the paper towels def horrible for the environment. Anyway I looked up the shiseido sunscreen you suggested and it looks like it goes over you skin like a deodorant. Isn’t that going to pick up bacteria and dirt as you continue to use it overtime with the roll over technique? Seems like a lot of cross contamination with that. What do you think?

@@EmmyHives yea I'm sure not wearing makeup helps...I couldn't imagine doing that with makeup. I use the Unseen sunscreen by super goop and as a POC I have no complaints... absolutely non-greasy and no white cast.

Instead of paper towels, maybe check out reusable/washable wipes and washable cotton rounds. I have a pack of washable wipes and cotton rounds.
