You can rub aromatherapy oil on you lamp bulb when it's cold let it dry then when you turn your lamp on the bulb will heat up and smell nice!oh to be as organized as you niki you must have been a great asset to any employer !

Cannot thank you enough for this video. I have been working from home for less than a month and was getting really discouraged by my lack of organization and just the overall blandness of my environment (I'm working out of a spare bedroom). I watched this video on Saturday and by today, Tuesday, I am already feeling a lot calmer and more organized. I purchased a cute little lamp, more folders for organization and some adorable little cards for decoration. I am a foreverfan!

I love the tips for the clamps and work covers! I did these immediately at work. I watched this video via my Iphone at lunch one day, and I just had to implement this immediately. I am a Contract Coordinator with so many piles on my desk These piles change daily and are in different stages of the contracting process. I love, love, love this tip. Thanks for sharing. I just love the lamp, the vase and the tape dispenser! My bedroom is a luxurious oasis of rich dark mahogany, marble, lace, fresh roses draping from my headboard and Statues (busts) but sadly, my hubby must use this space 10 hours a day for work!!! Despite it being clean and organised in his little corner it isn't pleasant and detracts from the exquisite beauty in the rest of the room that I worked so hard to accomplish. I think it is missing a few ornate office supplies like you have here in the video. Where is the best place to find an array of fancy shmamcy office decor, anyone?

I just love the lamp idea ! I recently added a porcelain pineapple desk lamp and it's working out beautifully ,I as well do candles but...I don't light them just use the for its fragrance and decor . I did decide to invest on a essential oil room diffuser and a Himalayan salt lamp , I alter them as you well know those lamps love moisture and desire a need for a drip dish! With that being said the diffuser and salt lamps don't make great office buddies👍🏻

You are sooo creative. I was consumed by my work that I was not creative any more like you are. But something traumatic happen to me on the job and I've been off for 3 months. Since it has taken me a month to decompress with therapy my creativity is returning. First I've set up a planner. Years ago I was a planner kind of girl. But had gotten away from that due to technology. But I must write stuff down. And I was doing that in a messy why. Now I'm inspired to do better. And your videos have helped. Thanks for sharing

This is so different from my last workplace! I was a shift worker, so inherited the desk space each time from the men on the team. Always messy! We weren't allowed desk lamps, I wish we'd had them as they would have helped prevent migraines. Anyway, we had to supply our own pens, stationery etc, so I always got cheap but nice things, after all, I had to use them for 12 hours at a time. Love your videos Nikki x

I know this is an older video, but what great tips! I too have worked both at home and in offices and these tips can be incorporated easily in both environments! What I like about this is these are simple inexpensive tips that most anyone can do right away. Also, when your work environment is tidy and aesthetically pleasing you do feel a little more in control of your day.

Changed my life on how I do things and I complete them in style like you do. This video was especially relaxing. I get chaotic workspaces and I loved the cover up idea. Nikki, I'm a writer so I spend a lot of my working time at home - these are great tips and wonderful ideas! With regards to the candles for those who work for an organisation, how about the battery candles? You can get some really authentic looking "fake" candles nowadays which are made of real wax - some even have a flickering flame! I love real candles and use them in my home, but I also have some of the "fake" ones which are great and you don't have to worry if you have small children or pets. Wishing you a wonderful week! :)

Hey Nikki, Thank you for these tips. I went right down to my craft room and made covers for things that were piled up. Then I blinged out my tape dispenser. I would rather have one like yours. It is so pretty. My desk looks so pretty now. I would love to see how to use the essential oils. Can they be used in laundry ? Like a rose scent or a lavender ? Or would it stain clothes ?

I am aware that you had numerous work experiences who played different roles in a company. I am graduating from university soon and was hired to a job.
