5 Tips to be a Better Quarterback - Football Tip Fridays

my qb coach down in hawaii probaly gave me the most insane tips to get ur mechanic WAYY better. tua tagovailoa n his brother were taught by this qb coach down in hawaii. some tips ill give uu is to always keep balance and never distribute ur weight over your feet. you want to have a strong core. when uu step with ur left foot, point ur toe where uu want to throw the ball. when you’re doing that you want to keep your chest straight and dont turn it with your left toe/feet. after uu do that uu want to rotate your hips and chest to your target as you get to your ball shelf. when uu release make sure your fingers release from your pointer finger for a spiral. if the ball goes low, you are releasing the ball late. if the ball goes high you’re releasing the ball to early. when your finishing your throw your right back foot should stop in alignment with your left feet. in your throwing motion your posture should be straight with knees little bent and alignment feet with your shoulders. your elbows should be up holding the ball. you want your feet to be a L when you step with your left foot. your right toe at the end should be on its point straight line with your left foot. everything id balanced, try not to use your arm and use your core. like if this helped.

I’m a freshman in Hs, I want nothing more than to play qb, I love playing it literally more than anything else on this earth, I have a really solid arm and good leadership, decent accuracy a little inconsistent but that’s not my problem. The Man21 depends....study your defense and your job ask your coach, then when you know what to do either read the qb or your man

The Man21 never let the receiver beat you deep, you can live if they catch balls short but not over the top. Also make sure when it's a run you fly down to hit the running back.

For all you guys asking what position you should play for and posting your weight and all just stop already. Stop letting other people decide what you are capable of doing. Do what you desire and the position you are interested in. You can do anything no matter weight or size. I'm 125lb and I took hits from linebackers and one D Linemen at practice. I'm still fine. Ok I need some input. I quit football two years ago to focus on school. I'm currently a junior in high school and I want to get back into football but that wouldnt be until my senior year. Fork you can play almost any position with a build like that. Think about what talent you have already and build off it if you dont know what position you wanna play. But if you're wanting to play Qb, yes try out but work on those Qb specific qualities that you need to be great. Work that arm. That awareness and footwork with ladder drills and cone drills. Just stay focused and don't give up. You can do it
