The only other tip I would advise is to sign up to the brand/stores newsletter - a lot of times they will give you a 10% discount code for your first order & exclusive offers throughout the year. Your moustache is coming along nicely btw, a couple more weeks and it will look excellent.

What would you recommend for mid tier smart casual brands that ship to the US? I've been looking at Massimo Dutti (which I think might have better quality than Zara?) and COS

Massimo dutti is pretty affordable secondhand in the USA. Good brands for second hand that are pretty common in the US are ralph lauren, brooks brothers, vtg banana Republic, vtg j crew. Some are a more dressy but you can dress them down to be more casual

Got any experience with MTM brands most of us here in Europe buy from? Cavour, Berg&Berg, Natalino, Anglo-Italian? I recently got a 100% cashmere winter overcoat from Cavour, full canvas, soft shoulders, spalla camicia, high armhole, lots of handwork, lapels, collar, sleevehead..., the seamstress who altered it for me was very impressed, and all that for €700, very pleased, it looks great and appears to be very good cashmere, I have a bespoke one from Colombo cashmere, which is supposed to be the very best cashmere and it looks and feels very similar. On the other hand, I got a couple of 100Hands shirts from Cavour and was less impressed, I like my Finamore ones way better.

All these brands are from the same niche, generally made in Italy or Portugal, hand-made details, soft tailoring, good fabrics but not always 100%natural, Anglo Italian for example do blends of Poly in some jackets. In general these brands have average prices, but Berg Berg for example has sales and they are really worth it , 100 hands for me I'd say is not worth it a shirt always suffers a lot more with washing and I prefer to invest more in shoes, suits or a coat....

Btw, I've seen your videos on Whitesville Ts, know anything about loopwheeled hoodies? I'm looking for a heather grey zip hoodie with a 2-way zipper, but for some reason even expensive Japanese brands like The Real McCoy and Buzz Rickson only have a regular zipper, and the ones with 2-way, Iron Heart and Merz b Schwanen p.ex. aren't quite what I'm looking for. Or they're crazy price, like Velva Sheen, Frans Boone wants €300 for it, and it's not even Japanese, it's almost double the price from what I'd pay in US.

Always used method one.Sometimes it works on some online websites, sometimes other online websites stay "numb"😂 It is a good trigger!
