I have a well dressed dorito, but there are a few problems. 1.) He literally wants to destroy reality 2.) He never takes anything seriously 3.) I do not want red marks or cuts on me, or jabbed holes, thank you very much 4.) Takes too long to summon or summon does not meet dual requirements 5.) He says there is a "give 'n take" but all he does is take. A complete liar. 6.) He is mentally deranged and embraces his insanity. 7.) His whereabouts are unknown. He went quiet after a while. Made some big moves in Oregon though. 8.) His beliefs almost completely contradict mine. So, uh, yeah. No.

Hi, I wanna get back into the game and learn with a modern yugioh deck. My old CRAB TURLTE/RELINQUISHED deck i used to have wont cut it.. XD I wanna learn the game again but that old deck of mine wont cut it. Im thinking of REALM OF LIGHT, SETO KAIBA 2016, or Order of the Spellcasters? I personally wanna build a Lightsworn or pendulum deck. Any suggestions. What do I need to do other than get 3 of each of those decks? Any extra cards to be competitive? Please help me.

@@nofilterneito The structure decks are typically around $10 w/taxes when they come out in stores. A $30 investment would be worth it. You are right there is some disparity in the strength of the structure decks. The way i see it, if you like the structure deck and the cards in cluded it would be a great way to pick up the deck.

Another hint I have, train with someone who is better. Practice with people who know the rulings (an official judge for instance). Just like going to higher level tournaments, just practicing with the judges and people who do go to higher level tournaments can help you out cheaper. (Unless they charge you for tutoring)

Trell playing with Mudkip was great. I would say looking at future meta concept decks is great though, if there is a possibilty that new decks will out pace the deck you like or maybe if you think a deck you like might get hit by the banlist you might not want to invest in that deck. I do believe in testing a deck online before investing, you never know if a deck suits your play style

For newer players (or returning players from the earliest eras of Yu-Gi-Oh!), make sure you know how the Problem-Solving Card Text works, as far as punctuation and specific words or phrases go. All cards follow these rules, and if you don’t pay attention to them, sometimes you may misinterpret the card text or miss it when your opponent does the same. Just Google “YuGiOh Problem Solving Card Text” to find the official articles from Konami on how the card text works.

So with Master Rule 4 and Links being God Tier. I started looking at Assault Mode cards again. And with the new Zombie Structure deck coming out, I figured Hmmmm would Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode be viable. So I made a zombie deck using it and well, at minimum when Doomkaiser Dragon/Assault Mode is played, I can at least bring out a Link 2. However, this can change if Zombie World is active and if my opponent has other links in Grave, I could go into multiple Link 4s and 3s for no reason. I have actually OTK'd a few players when testing out the concept too. Sadly the Shiranui engine isn't that great for this build as that gets in the way more than it helps. Now if we get some better Assault Mode Support (Like a better Assault Mode Activate for instance) I think zombies especially from the latest structure deck could be a lot more viable.

My view on net decking is that if you’re new to a deck it’s the most valuable thing you got because a cookie cutter deck is good enough to pick and learn and after you become better at the game then you can be creative because you would have the experience to make it competitive

I havent thought much about or played YuGiOh in 15 years but with COVID... Ive been hella nostalgic and been buying (spending a lot) of $ on starter decks and structure decks of the time. ALL 1st edition. I love collectibles. I got an unlimited Yugi Starter, Yugi and Kaiba Evolution 1st edition starters, Jaden Yuki Starter deck 1st edition, and the first ever Structure deck Dragons Roar 1st edition. Strictly for nostalgia and to save and look at XD. If yugioh is to stay a thing... its the DUEL MONSTERS ERA that people gravitate to. My advice? Playtest multiple decks multiple times against each other. Use a free yugioh simulator for it. You'll quickly see what certain decks do or don't do and begin to analyse how to use it and more importantly, how to fight against it.

Net decking has its positives sure if you do it to much it becomes a problem because you aren’t getting creative but of course you can see how the strongest deck works which does transfer over to the next meta deck because the next meta decks just do stuff better
@AndrewFishman
@AndrewFishman 5 жыл бұрын
Net decking is the best way to ensure you never get good. You take the cards someone else has figured out, you play the deck the way they played the deck. You have learned nothing. The only purpose to net decking is to build proxy decks to practice against. The only way to get good at this game is to build and play your own decks.

I need five tips for getting rid of anxiety fast. I’m getting ready for my first major event and I’m dreading the anxiety attack that’s sure to come with it. I’m pretty sure I’ll show up and forget how to yugioh.
@drizzt04
@drizzt04 6 жыл бұрын
Just one tip: Get outta your own head. Don’t focus on the strong urge to need to win. Focus on the opportunity to learn, have fun, & make memories. I go into competitions so nonchalantly that people think I’m trolling. I used to have anxiety in the beginning but now I play Yugioh like I’m playing Go Fish
@coryn7031
@coryn7031 6 жыл бұрын
You’re right. All of the rationalizing doesn’t help the anxiety because it’s just more dwelling on the anxiety. I have to interact with strangers everyday, there’s no reason I should be so worked up over interacting with strangers that share my interests.

Dueling book and dueling nexus are good alternatives too. I'm new to the yugioh competitive scene and yugitubing. I'm going to my first locals today and regionals in Houston this weekend too! WALMART JUST COMMENTED ON MY LATEST YUGIOH PACK OPENING VIDEO LMFAO!!

From my experience, DuelingBook is so bad with all the bugs and glitches it had. Like I want to search a card out of my deck, and the button to add to hand don't work on that card, so I go to a copy of it, still wouldn't work. Not including the crap lagfest that happened. And compared to DuelingNetwork, DuelingBook just fell flat and left a bad taste in my mouth.

I'd have to say something slightly oldschool but not really is Agent Cyberse. This deck has loads of combos abusing Venus with Shine Balls to essentially go into a Link 4 then combining it with a cyberse engine and exodius which really opens up plays.

Spyral knightmare is less consistent than gouki but Spyral is waaay more flexible and don't die if you just ash the core link 2
@NickCamokidVisneski
@NickCamokidVisneski 6 жыл бұрын
Problem with these Gouki-Knightmare replies is that that deck is about to get brutally murdered on the banlist, tbh Crusadia is a very good link OTK deck. Most of the cards in the archetype are very cheap, but certain staples (Borreload, for example) are still needed. If you're just trying to learn the game, pick up Phantasm Spiral. It's old school ygo the deck.

@Cyber_Jar23

Tip for YGOpro. Don't test with cards you know you'll likely never afford. I built a sick dark magician deck, but magicians souls is a card I'll never buy, so I just stopped playing that deck, I have bills, I can't be paying £300 for a play set of cards, so I wasted time getting good with that deck
