First & most important. I really appreciate the respect you show the fish on the release!! I've been doin it like that for decades but you sure don't see that much now-a-days! Especially here on boobtube!! I subbed for that reason. 2nd. Great info i just bought my first pack of these tonight at Dick's. Came home & fired up boobtube and this vid was first in line. I took notes!! More hogs in my future 'cause of your tips. Thanks man!!

A little tip Norm. When fishing skinny water or heavy weeds , and you get hung up , carry a small block of wood that you can stick under your trolling motor to raise it up above the bottom to move yourself off whatever is hanging you up. It's a lot easier than trying to hold the trolling motor up while it's running.

Great video! Using mono or fluorocarbon and the thin wired hooks is probably fine since the line will help absorb some of the shock from setting the hook. When using braid though you want the "superline" hooks. I've broken the thin wired hooks on hook set. Most of my rods are spooled with straight braid but I do have one set up with 14# fluorocarbon that I use in more open water. I'm looking to set up another with mono.

Cmbtvet outdoors, thanks for the tip... Braid is definitely great line for bass fishing.

@@NormGfishing so upwards and are there other ways to work a speed worm like can you bounce like a regular curly tail worm
@NormGfishing3 жыл бұрын
Yes, it’s hard to fish a speed worm wrong. This video is showing you one method that works well here in Florida. Bouncing a curly tail worm is another good way. In this video the fish were located against a wall of Hydrilla. So fishing high was the best method. Good luck👍

@@jakeechols7889 To me, it almost looks like he doesn't have the right rod for the technique. Rod is too long (at least longer than I like), too fast of action and/or not enough backbone in the rod.
