5 Tips To Meet the Parents Of Your Boyfriend or Fiancé | How To Be A Lady

I've just found your channel and I love it. I have few tips to add to your video, these tips are for ladies over 21. Tips for Dinner at Home 1. Try and find what type of alcohol his parents like to drink. I tend to 3 bottles of wine: a red, a wine or rose. I always go to a wine seller to get the wine. Or get a Scottish malt or Cognac etc 2. In term of flowers I like to have Hydrangas pomander made at local florist, it's more original and I present it to mother. 3. Always offer to help to clear away plates or try to assist with coffee or tea course. 4. DO NOT SLEEP OVER, unless you are joining his family for long weekend. 5. If he has younger siblings, always introduce yourself to them and talk to them Tips for Dinner at Restaurant 1. Try and find out name of restaurant, so you can work out the dress code. If you can't find out, a nice dress or a wide leg trouser with nice blouse will work. I always wear comfortable heeled court shoes wiih trousers. I tend wear neutrals with a classic fashion style. Neutral and natural make up only. The idea is to look clean elegant and put together. 2. Do not drink (alcohol) too much or too quickly, try to copy the drinking rate of his mum. 3. Remember your table manners. 4. If his mother goes to bathroom, accompany her. It's opportunity to get to know her better. 5. Write a nice thank you note to his parent, and get your boyfriend to give to them or post it to them. It will be a conversation starter when you meet his parent next time. I hope it helps.
