What to do would be to stay home! I’m Canadian 🇨🇦 - where I live we have over a foot of snow on the ground. here, when it snows enough to make a Yeti nervous, we just clean off our cars and get on with it. But my brother-in-law lived in North Carolina for a while, and he said when it snowed there people would have 52-car pile-ups because they didn’t know how to drive in the snow. Driving in winter weather is a skill - they teach it in driver’s ed here. Also we have snow tires, snow brushes to clean off our cars, snow shovels to clear our driveways, and every municipality has snow plows that clear the snow from the roads and apply sand and salt. If you live somewhere where it rarely snows, you have none of these resources at your disposal - so stay safe, stay home! 😊

You make such a good point about Ikea plants. They are a great value. My last apartment had a first floor slider that was fairly public to the parking lot, so I used tall plants from them to obscure the view and provide the privacy I wanted. 😀

@@LaughCryDIY I also added a second layer of privacy/defense by applying privacy film to the slider, but only 2/3 of the way up. So if you were sitting down on the couch, you would be out of line of sight and obscured. However, if you walked up to the slider, you could creep on what was going on in the parking lot 🤣

I have bought cheep fake flowers because the flower heads looked pretty. What made them look cheep was the foliage. I painted the foliage with chalk paint.

I have a confession to make - I’m a serial killer of plants (not intentionally, I just seem to do exactly THE WRONG THING). So fakes might mean the plant world can breathe a sigh of relief.😁 great video, and RIP Edward 😢 - he did so much in his short life (nourished others, spread joy with his cheerful colour). Looking forward to the air b n’ b makeover!
