Loved this video. I learned so much in just a short time. I am starting to work on a large peyote tapestry piece for the first time. The starter strip is a great suggestion. The paper for the rolling up as well. You are a great teacher!!!! Looking forward to your other videos. Thanks you. Veronika

Am I looking at this wrong? I have done this for over 20 years (LARGE pieces like this....aren't they the most fun to watch come together?) I think if you are turning this into a purse or small bag; shouldn't these be attached at their 'chins' or bottom to bottom? I know when I taught this type of class 10 years ago, that was one thing I had to make sure that the students were doing correct. This is going to be GORGEOUS! Richard

Hi Richard, thank you for your comment! They are only attached because I am using 1 project as a tool to start the next. I will take them apart and hang them as artwork on the wall once they are finished ☺️ Purse is a good idea though 😁

Hey Kara - those are really beautiful. I personally can’t do large pieces. I get bored too fast but you have some beautiful patterns Thanks for the tips.

Most welcome! I get bored as well, hence working on multiple projects at a time. I do fancy having beaded artwork on my walls, so will persevere 😅

These are both very beautiful pieces, you do lovely work. I'm not sure I could do a large piece like this, I'm afraid my edges would ripple in and out because sometimes my tension isn't very good. But yours are wonderful. Thank you for the tips!

Heya, I used to work exclusively with Nymo, but recently switched to Miyuki thread. Lots of color options and wonderful quality

I'm not affiliated, but you can buy an Ogee board where you can lay out the design to see exactly what you've done. The beads sit in little divots. Of course, you need to keep it away from pets and kids. 😂 you can lay out small sections at a time.
