"Tinker This" vs code extension is what I use. You can run a selected code from your main file and check it's output there.

I have learnt so many things from you, your teaching method is just so awesome. If you can't teach other things except Laravel here then please make another channel for other technologies specially vuejs. It will surely attract more audience. Thanks again for all the great content.

When using “edit” in php artisan tinker mode, you can set inside your .env EDITOR=vi to open in vi and not in a nano editor.

I tinker a lot. I would consider Tinkerwell except I'm not a fan of the auto-execute feature.. I like more control, especially if it's multi-line using external services or APIs.

You can disable the auto-evaluation in the preferences of the app :)

i use thinker when i am not sure about some code because it easy to debug it there and get results without going from the browser to IDE and going back every time .

in most cases I'm too lazy to write Eloquent statements so I just write SQL, but when I have to build that statement Tinker is great way to see if it even makes sense

Thank you Povilas💙💙 I have a little question if you don't mind, what is your approach or your way to code many optional filters, like if i have an ecommerce and i want to give the admin the ability to sort users by register date, orders count, total orders value, ..., OR filter the users by thier countries, age range, gender, ... please note that im not asking about the queries my question is how to organize this code to end up with many if-else statements? I would really love to hear you opinion. Thank anyway💙
