Got a different angle for you to review some fifth wheels. We are a nearly retired very fit outdoorsy couple. We’ll be traveling for a couple weeks to a month at a time but not staying anywhere for long periods. We are not that interested in big entertainment areas. I’ve noticed that once the trailers get beyond 30’, almost all of them have a second couch and the entertainment area becomes a focus. I’d rather have more storage and amenities targeted to outdoors/athletics. Maybe the backend is a big storage area. I want a focus on outdoors including, outdoor kitchen. Imagine going to campgrounds and then hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, mountain biking, etc. I’m looking for the 30’ range, give or take, that is ideal for the outdoorsy couple who won’t hunker down too long. I’d like premium and up. Ideally targeted to the ¾ ton diesel pickup category.

Solid picjs, but I was SHOCKED Montana 3231ck didn't make your cut... 2 reasons. 1, it's towability, size wise.. Can fit in most state parks and campgrounds.. I own a 2022 Grand Design 260RD. The single slide has a Schwin-Tech and a large 16 cubic fridge DC fridge...seems nice at first. Problem, too much weigh on slide has caused a large bow in the exterior wall near the top of the RV near the edge of the slide. Looks like the weld has probably broken too! Has to go back to GD as it's under warranty and entire wall to be replaced. The floor in the slide is a single sheet of wood and flexes up and down if you walk on it and can visually be seen to flex under the heavy refrigerator. Do you due diligence on this unit and check the two areas I have highlighted!

@JoshtheRVNerd2 жыл бұрын
Clarification: allowances for full time *RVing* Not living. I get that sounds stupid and I am not trying to be difficult but the industry has a very different sedition of those things “RVing” means you can camp the crap out of it as long as you spend SOME time elsewhere “Living” means it’s a full time residence which is not what they’re offering coverage for.. but that being said it’s super rare to see warranty work turned down because someone is using an rv for full time living Insurance companies and lenders also dislike full time living setups.
