I don't normally comment, but I got excited when I heard there was a story at Gifford Pinchot State Park. As I'm a local, of course, I had some comments/thoughts--please take them lightly--just my opinion: The lake is, at most, 14 feet deep and it's not like a "drop-off." There are 2 bridges--only 1 of which has a boat launch near it that I actually launch kayaks from regularly and you can go under that bridge (this is the Rosstown Rd bridge). The story was interesting, but I'm having a hard time finding it credible. Yes there have been a few drownings and a sucide by gunshot to the head last year, but we don't hear about this happening all the time as the story suggests. It's actually rare, park rangers are pretty prominent and constantly patrolling so I don't think these kinds of things happen often--not that I hear about anyway. Yes there was a story about a 4 year old Red Lion boy drowning while playing with some other kids, but only the 1 boy drowned and he was found by "Boulder Point" which is far from the day use area and even further from the Rosstown Rd bridge. Another point in her story suggests having to drive back over the bridge and her able to see the dark figure under/near the bridge where they were playing, how would she be able to see under the bridge while driving over it (see map link and zoomed-in link below to see what I mean). Only 1 story of a child drowning in August of 2008 others were adults (2008 would have been 10 years ago from now (2018) and 5 years before her incident in 2013. I'm not saying this didn't happen, just that it's hard to believe as true. 4 year old drowning story: www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2008/08/boy_4_drowns_in_pinchot_lake.html Boulder Point and Rosstown Rd Bridge Google Map (bridge is bottom left corner, Boulder point is selected-top left of map): www.google.com/maps/place/Boulder+Point/@40.0726847,-76.9033385,15z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x89c8edaffce7ecc9:0x7eea9b68c0fd3930!8m2!3d40.0800314!4d-76.8834065 Zoomed in on Bridge and Boat Launch (Google Map): www.google.com/maps/@40.0687139,-76.9078081,3a,60y,283.04h,78.17t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sRbdWgRhWSgYLBW6cUEVuHw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 Google Search of drownings at Gifford Pinchot State Park Lake: www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1GGRV_enUS759US759&ei=-52ZWvWCA4Kzgge-4bbQBQ&q=drownings+in+gifford+pinchot+state+park+lake&oq=drownings+in+gifford+pinchot+state+park+lake&gs_l=psy-ab.3...891206.892668.0.892994.8.8.0.0.0.0.72.489.8.8.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..0.0.0....0.fjAVcvpejck

These missing 411 stories remind me of the game Firewatch, in more ways than one. As for Paulides, he has done a good job compiling these stories, many of them being so impossible that it's otherworldly. Many of them include possible Bigfoot sightings, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Hairy Man himself might be responsible for some of these. Look up "Albert Ostman" for a relevant story

OK , wait a minute . The last story the author said that the thing was 2 feet taller than them and then said that the thing was 9 feet tall on all 4 legs. So does that mean that the author was 7 feet tall? Just wondering . Excellent job with the video , you always have a knack for making the mundane exciting .

3 years ago I took a trip up to Yellowstone. I don’t remember exactly where I was but everything went well for us. The day after we were reading the news, and keep in mind we were already gone by this time, the place that we had been a man was mauled and eaten by a bear that day. They found him in pieces. They had to euthanize the bear because of course he had now liked the taste of human flesh.

yea, he's great. I've listened to a lot on him, and some of the data he has compiled is astounding. some of the stories are beyond unexplainable, it always gets me so creeped out!

Man, that giggle in the 3rd story made me jump more than anything else, granted I am playing around with a few Gundam models while I listen to this so I am semi distracted.

I’ve gotten lost in the forest before. I’m glad my friend brought a GPS, or else I’d probably be Sasquatch chow.

Genderless M I don't think Sasquatch eats humans, they however have supposable killed humans in the past but not by eating them.

Mount Kosciuszko to the blue mountains is a 6 hour drive. Not even close. No hunting and no fires and you NEVER leave boots or shoes out unless you want spiders or snakes in them.
