Hi mattie, I think that fabric is for upholstery on the underside. You are so brilliant. I just love your creations. I also have a box of nail polish. I have used them on some of my outside metal garden decor. They hold up pretty well with our heat. Hugs from Arizona.

Not a big Day of the Dead fan. I think the colors are bright and fun but it just isn't my thing. But these are fabulous. Never thought about using nail polish to color things either. I'll use the clear occasionally when I repair a piece of pottery/China and apply it as a top coat. But this was so innovative. Can't wait to see the next video. I loved everything you did!

I say this out of complete respect and love. When you take on another cultures tradition, you should research and ensure that you have a full understanding. This is a highly spiritual tradition that is sacred to aztec descendants. Your ancestors cross over to our land if the living from the land of the dead. They leave their own realm to visit their living descendants as long as you utilize their ancient tradition of the elements. If you are hoping they will just visit in a dream and it makes you nervous, you probably should make sure this is for you. There are even protective elements used to banish bad spirits who mean to join uninvited. The tradition is called dia de los muertos. If you aren't sure how to pronounce, then maybe take the time out of respect to practice. This is way more than crafts and colors.

I totally agree when wanting to celebrate or be apart another culture traditions, one needs to take the time to learn it and understand it not just in the mind but in the spirit.
