No, the physics gun is from 2003 half-life 2 e3

You’re right it does technically make its first appearance in Half Life 2, but it’s more of a supercharged Gravity Gun. The one I showcased is the one in Garry’s Mod.

(If you want to know further about it just look it up or something because I can’t remember the whole story off the top of my head but long story short one of the creators for the game gave Garry Newman the source code etc and that’s why it’s in Gmod)

On the combine playermodel part. I want to memention that half-life came out like... 2004 (cue the nerd music) yes. they made the combines hands REALLY low quality and literally 3 parts. yes. gordon freeman is not even A MODEL in the actual game (a stone freeman). sorry for being a nerd.

9:51 you claim the distance is five squares, but that is not the precise measurment. Lets call the side of a square X. We have five squares inbetween you and ford, but this ditance is not 5X. First, use Pythagoras therum. Lets determine the diagonal. X²+X²=D² thus a diagonal is D. And the distance between you and ford is 5D. Now, lets assume one side of a square is one meter. Then that means that: 1²+1² = D² = 2 thus D = √2. Now we know that the distance between you and ford is 5√2, which is roughly 7 meters.
