And this minor blue scale run trick I myself learned from one funk guy here on youtube few days back.😊 I mean he was doing such an fast & even run that I have to zoom in on his finger for that trick. Cause thumbs switch slows u down and might create lil accent sometimes and in funk and blue u traverse very fast within swings. So bottom line is yep there are some general ways or rules... But they not absolute. Correct results and comfort are the goal.. no matter what way u achieve it. U put thumb or even lil finger on black doesnt matter jus that u should be comfortable with it.. thats all. Fingers are your weapons use weapon whatever u comfortable with at any given situation. 😊

Mind it but sometimes cross fingering is better option. Let me tell u one such situation for right hand... If u are handling consecutive white and black notes on end side of phrase and your palm is lil expanded. Like say "Tum hi ho" song ki prelude ko lelo. Its... F A# C ... C# G# A# G ..repeat Now if u start with thumb at F... So one playing sequence could be 1 2 4 .. 3 2 3 2 We using finger 4 & 3 to play C & C#... so u see we technically crossing 3rd Over 4th.... But does it cause problem?... And doesnt it simplfy things... No more thumb switch u c. 😊 and your palm is sorta stationary. So basically whenever u find a combo of consequtive white ang black at the end before the return u can quite efficiently crossover two consequtive fingers with absolute no tension cause they so close by that ur finger joints can easily accomodate that. Now in this phrase u can also do it with 5th and 4th.. I mean if u have strong 5th.. that will further simplify and stablize your hand during that phrase. Cause now u have your 2nd and 3rd absolutely just free to tackle jus G# & A# notes. U wont have to bring back 3rd from C# to A# u c.😊 And u can do it anywhere whereever u have to deal with that combo consequtive notes not just C & C#. Let me give u one more example ...Like C blue minor scale run. Its notes are... C D# F F# G A#......C D#.... Now u can do this run lor of ways or maybe not doing whole run but partial phrasing.. bur lets underatand in terms of run. Now u can do run by moving thumb from C to F to G to next C... No problem or u can even hit first 4 notes with first 4 fingers if u got that and use C & G for thumb but that certainly wud be inefficient for faster run i former case and uneasy in later case. Best bet is to do 1 3 4 3 1 3 1... combo. Here u play F & F# with 4th and 3rd... And best part is u just using 3rd for every black note jus like u do in what u call it diatonic scale? ..where notes are semitone apart? 😊 So u already have it in your fingers if u have mastered that. And though u are doing run from left to right during even crossover not reverting back as in Tum hi ho song case but in fast enough run u will leave the F key as u approach the F# .. might cause very lil awkwardness for absolute novice.. more cause of phyclogical than mechanical I guess. But anybody can perfect it in few try and that will give to smooth fast even run of that blue minor scale. And quite a few of Indian thaats have 3 notes combo like blue scale u c.. and rather every scale has semitone apart notes..so lil crossover like this might benifit at lot of situations. Jus keep it to that though ..i mean dont exagerate things. 😊 I mean that how those tutors show the thing in very awkward style. No novice wud be going that far by himself.. wont he feel himself that? 😅 Anyway thats one lil penny from my side to this topic.😊

Abhi kuch common kehrwa thoda chal jata warna karoake mein timing milana dikat ho jaati... 😅 So lets bookmark your channel. Achacha can u recognise the background track taal of any random bollywood song? I mean can one develop this skill? Cause this gonna be handy I guess. 😊
