If you care about trophies, you’ll have to play in all four houses.

@@ByakuyaKB Yes. I don’t know how far into the game it will be but you have to find a certain location in each house. It will add up to four trophies.

@@DigimonTamerfreak It may be pointless but, unfortunately, my OCD almost always won’t let me get away with not getting an easy trophy. I’m a massive Harry Potter fan though so I was planning on playing in each house anyway (with one playthrough being evil) so I personally like that I’m also getting a trophy for playing in each house. I can definitely see that being a problem for other people who like trophies as well though if they didn’t want to do multiple playthroughs. But if you don’t care about trophies, I’m happy for you. I sometimes wish that I didn’t care either.

yeah I'm kind of glad I grew up with games where characters had 5 pixels for a face. Not only were there some great games but it makes gorgeous games like this one seem that much cooler.

I remember growing up with two older brothers that were also avid gamers like myself, and one thing we always used to say to each other was "if games look this good now, imagine how they'll look in 10 years." And to this day every time something looks, feels, and plays so damn good I still find myself saying to myself "man.....imagine what games will look like 10 years from now." No better medium, imo, than video games in their current state.

While I can't imagine them putting in an actual secret character of PS1 Hagrid (as amazing as that would be), I can see a painting of him not being out of place, or maybe a student just happens to be doodling him on a bit of parchment in the restricted section of the library....

Watching gameplays and trailers for this game gets me every bit as excited as I was as a child when I saw the first Harry Potter trailer in a movie theater, having read the books (1-4 I believe?) up to that point.

listening to the books on audible with jim dale is a must id have to recommend i did so after rewatching all 8 movies and then the fantastic beasts film which i highly recommend as well! the books give much more lore and detail !

The level of detail in each and every room in this video is INSANE! Honestly didn't think I'd ever be this excited for a Harry Potter game as my childhood is long gone but dammit this seems to be the game 12 year old me would dream about. Got it pre-ordered and hope that the retailer makes a mistake and sends my copy a bit earlier.

You can take the sorting quiz and wand quiz on pottermore and port them over to your character if you choose.

This is truly a dream come true. I was a ps1 Harry Potter fan. I would love to see some easter eggs. A flat faced hargrid or collectible beans. I adored that game. I explored every inch of that castle and i hope this one is able to rekindle some of that wonderful magic i felt all those years ago. Cheers to you all and i hope all the fans enjoy it loads!

It looks good and I wanna play it, but I won’t spend so much money on a 30 hour game. 2 days of playtime with no online features or quidditch is a rip-off. They will probably sell quidditch as a 30 bucks add on. I miss the old days when games would work and were complete on release!
