God bless you sir. Please, with the cost of feed and birds now, do we still make profit in poultry farm?
@PoultryfarmGuide6 ай бұрын
There is still gain but is all about the game of numbers. You can hardly break even with small flock like 50 to 100 unlike before when you can make appreciable profit with few birds. And you must be aware of the market situation before production to avoid lost.

All breeds are good depending on what you want in a broiler-some are require less management, some convert feed to meat than others, while some are slow growing. Sir how long does sawdust or wood shavings last
@PoultryfarmGuide2 жыл бұрын
It doesn't have a specific period it should last. You have to make sure it's loose and dried, not caked, or wet, not emitting ammonia, deep enough about a inch, and most importantly they can dust bath in it. When they stop bathing in it or you start perceiving hash smell you will know it's time to change it.
