There needs to be a perk where you only take 99 damage from melee weapons. Back when shock RC was overpowered, there is cold-blooded perk if you don't want to deal with it. If something is overpowered, don't just nerf them, but give a way to counter them

Might I ask: How slow does the Disable Perk make you if it hits you in the leg... And thanks to this channel, I can finally be able to counter all those Melee abusers that have haunted me for seasons on end. I also might have a few more counters to them: - Not a popular choice, but Thermite is a way to counter them. It slows them down and makes them take additional damage. - If thermites don't work or you just don't generally use them ('cough' toxic 'cough'), than a Cryo Grenade can do it, since it also basically slows the enemy down. - You will find that some Operator Skills can counter them. Employing the use of the Sparrow or the War Machine can effectively kill them with the blast damage. Purifier is a good way to wittle their health down and kill them if employed correctly. The shield won't do much in damage, but can either prolong the melee abuser's attacks or block off sections that they can't take. The Kinetic Armor can save your life if used during a melee onslaught. - Some scorestreaks also work effectively against them. Shock RCs can stun them, Hunter Killer drones seek them out and destroy them, MQ-27 Dragonfire can mark them and deal some damage, Sentry Guns and Stealth Choppers mows them down, and VTOLs can decimate them.

I love stabbing and am not as good with guns coz i focus on stabbing lol... Ive faced all of these things against me. You might also use dropshots against melee users... It took me a lot of practice to fight drop shots effectively and i have noticed most melee users struggle dealing with it.. Its really fun when others join in with melee too... I can and do use guns too but ive loved melee ever since the game was launched haha. Dont hate me i just like melee ... Epic video though ... I can tell that these are effective against melee users... I am not sure if im considered a melee abuser but it makes sense if i am coz i mostly stab unless the distance is too much haha...

What's really satisfying is when you are popped into an already in progress game and your team is losing something like 17 to 4. On top of that the other team appears to be a clan because they immediately turn their attention to you. Finally you pull out the sword and go to work, and your team wins 50 to 48. I see the sword as an odd factor in the game, and I've been cut down as much as anyone else, but it can be an equalizer in an otherwise ridiculously unbalanced match.

Whenever i see melee abuser, i use my "Anti-Melee" loadout with any automatic gun with disable perk then a crossbow with gas grenade ammo, then gungho restock perk With dual thermite gas grenade or concussion

As a melee abuser, the only advice I can give you is that if you see one, run, make a quick turn, slide and shoot from below. Melee abusers usually make zigzagging movements, avoid facing each other in close combat at all costs. If you are a sniper, constantly change your position, the melee abusers are fast and quiet.

Try a quick dropshot when they are really close to you, it works a lot of times for me. You have a second or two advantage of spraying bullets to their legs. It confuses them for a brief moment before they can look down and start hitting you.
