Got my Spyder last September then had back surgery in October (age 75, you're never too old). Finally getting some riding in now and the weather is beautiful. Recently found your KZbin channel and love it. Earlier today, while out riding, I started thinking about my next upgrade, communications. Wondered if you had ever done a video on communication systems and saw this video. Thanks for doing these, truly a service.

"Making it mine" My go to advise would be extra lights Front / Back & Fenders (Slingmods & Lamonster), make the machine more visible. Agree with helmet choice Shoei is an exceptional brand but expensive, but how much is your life worth. Comms system enhances your ride experience with a passenger, Cardo an excellent choice. Another great video, keep them coming and remember you can't please all the people all the time and that's their problem.

I have been riding for over 50 years and #1 is a full face helmet that fits - any brand cheap or expensive as long as it fits. This is golden in the rain. Also stay off the interstates and take those back roads including gravel (loosen that belt) Sena seems to be fine for us. The sena prism camera is better than the go pro. I really like the BT connection to my phone for gps navigation. One of the downsides to riding a SportTrike is most two wheelers will not ride with you as they don't like the gravel and dirt backroads, I'm fine with that

So hard to understand how anyone who has watched your videos could be nasty, but I like your response, "that's the internet". For what it's worth, I value and trust your opinions immensely. Great job on this video, find your local enjoyable ride (definitely a must) and music playlists (music makes the mood), both of those have made my riding time so very enjouable here in the Niagata Frontier region. Also, I echo your shoutouts. My personal buying experience with Lamonster and Slingmods has been great, no issues at all. I would also add a shoutout to Big Bike Parts, got my hitch and trailer wiring harness from them and hardly made any booboos when I installed, haha, but true, my fault though. Taking apart a Spyder is nerve-wracking and a challenging learning experience, but it's also so very satisfying once you get her all put back together. As for Pierre ( from La Belle Province du Quebec, where our Soyders are born ), his channel, and his accessories business are invaluable I haven't purchased anything yet, his stuff is primarily 2010 to 2019 Spyder accessories, not much at all for the 2020+ Spyder (yet). And the poor guy's content workload, his content is doubled, puts out his videos in both English and French. But absolutely agree that he is such a nice guy. Again, I appreciate all the advice and opinions you have shared. Two sincere thumbs up !! 👍👍

@SpyderWayne I recently experienced some pretty nasty abuse on a number of videos I loaded to KZbin. I took it to heart and shut down my channel. A good friend who works in the IT sector had a chat with me and pointed out that by shutting it down, the trolls win. My mate showed me how to blocked the mentally challenged trolls, and just play on. I was so much better off by doing that. The world is a mish mash of weird and wonderful people.

Cardo is the best! I have both! The sena if you lose signal between riders you have to stop to reconnect! The Cardo when other riders come back in range they automatically relink with your ride. The Cardo Black does have about 30 percent better sound with bigger speakers. Has more base sound compared to the sena.

Just got the Cardo Freecom 4+ and still trying to figure out all the features, I am really digging using the voice commands. And finally, I have named my F3-L "The Bratmobile"! The GT Air is a great helmet and by my standards is exceptionally quiet. The Neotec is acceptable on a touring motorcycle with a windshield and the fact that it is a modular makes it excellent… I think you’d be pleased with either … but, the GT Air is noticeably more quiet.
