Your channel is a godsend. You really do have a video for everything. A lot of my cosplay idols have great techniques and tutorials, but don't have a lot of advice for stuff like this bc they dont experience, or havent experienced it in years. It is hard to overcome mistakes and learn new things ❤

I think these tips go beyond just cosplay. They apply to almost any project you may be working on. Thanks for the great video.

Very true! I try to take things I have learned from cosplay into my every day life as well.

great tips! one to add is, you can always go back and fix mistakes later on! especially good to keep in mind if you have a deadline :)

Thanks RT ! The 10 foot rule struck a chord with the image editing I do. I'll tend to work really, really zoomed in and I'll see all the imperfections in the pixels. And then I zoom out and suddenly they're not actually too bad and sometimes actually make the image look more natural/complete.

Oh for sure, same thing happens to me with photo editing!

I've been agonizing over a helmet I just finished because I messed up at the LAST moment sprayed it with a matte clear coat as opposed to a gloss ... I swear this video came at the right time in my recommended feed. I know how to fix it but right now, I just need a break from it.

Getting the right sealer is always a process for me! I hope your break helps you get energized to try again or be ok with where it's at.

putting it all together is a really good idea that i never thought of! i always feel like my wig styling is extremely subpar until i put on the full cosplay, and end up being okay with it, but i never fully put that concept together!

I've been working on my larp costume and had to step away from the armor to come up with a solution to the problem. I've figured out how I'm fixing it. I just haven't done it yet.

I did that with my Alana armor, taking a break on the chainmaile was really important!
