I learned to tighten up my letters by just filling the page until I had to stretch or lean my letters to make them fit in the limited space I was left with.

Your handstyle looks a great deal like early Philly Wildstyle writing. Cursive writing does have advantages in tagging quickly and somewhat legibly. These are great tips, Youfo. I’m old enough to have hand written school assignments for most of my childhood. One teacher finally told me to stop trying to write the way school had taught me, and just come up with something of my own that was legible. BOOM! Went through exactly the process you recommended. Still developing it to this day, and still improving it, decades later. PRO TIP: If you write on legal and “other” surfaces too… don’t use the same name or handstyle. The style can be a dead giveaway too.

Love watching your vids man, I painted from roughly 12 to 15 yr old and had a break when the law got a bit touchy in my area but now I'm 27 and have stepped back into the game with a couple of pieces that even surprised me. (Far from a king haha) I definitely prefer sticking to the quiet spots though and often returning to work on or modify pieces and even that feels like it's given me a chance to take in different ways I could change it up. Keep at it man!

instead of doing big curvy letters for tags i prefer small more sharp edges i find it flows more and its easier to connect them all together as its sharp lines but this helped to know how to customize and to improve

That's how I learned. My boy ROD had a way of leaning his letters back in the day. He'd show me how to lean, stretch, or bend my letters. I learned that the angle I held my marker on would help as well.
