Hi Becca! I have a long drive to school each morning (1 hour), and you are part of my university on wheels! I made it to the end of your video! Thank you so much for giving these suggestions. My favorite is Pinterest. I am in the beginning stages of creating my TPT store and I will be using your suggestions from this video in my plan. You are so awesome. Thanks for your energy, drive, and genuine love of the process for teacherprenuer experiences!

Every time I hear you talk about long-form content I think I should do one of those but then I remember how bad I am at Pinterest and feel like I should master the small thing first before diving into something hard like blogging or youtube.

I love the idea of mastering one before moving on, but you may like blogging or youtube better. They are very different and you have a bit more control. But take on only what you think you can!

Becca, you are great as usual! My jaw dropped when I saw your traffic stats!!!!! I know that my traffic is very bad because I rely mostly on TpT's mercy. I don't like it! I really love writing blogs!

Another great video, I did not skip through☺️! Valuable information. I just started promoting products from my TpT store on KZbin and am excited to see where that goes. But I am guilty... I need to work on an email list🤦🏾♀️.

@@BeccaDavis Although, alot can be said about where you teach regarding pay checks. I taught for over 27 years iin LAUSD in los angeles, and I made fairly good money doing it. while it still does not make as much as other technical professions, it made me close to 100k per year gross. had to retire early, and I miss being in the classroom. TpT gives me an opportunity to continue with education via making products.

I've been watching all your videos for a couple of months and finally hit the subscribe button! Woot! Thanks for the content :) There is a brand new podcast called "Market Scale Grow" by a Facebook Ad obsessed tpt seller. I have no idea if it is going to be a great podcast because I'm not there yet (I don't even have a tpt store), but I thought I'd mention it in case anyone finds it helpful since Becca mentioned researching social media ads.

That game looks super awesome! Will you be sharing how you made the die roll? TIA! Also, I think my fave is social media. I've met so many amazing and creative people on socials that I would never have met any other way. 😄 💕

It's on KZbin! I like the connection aspect of social too!

@@BeccaDavis do you think terms will change on TPT concerning KZbin links in products since they’re now putting ads on all videos, including kids content? BOOM just issued out a statement that we can no longer use KZbin for this reason. I wonder how or if that would change things, like this die roll for past and future products.

When you started your TPT store did you create a separate email account? Or separate separate PayPal from what you were using before? I don’t have a blog or KZbin channel yet but I did create a new gmail yesterday but now do I change the email address on my TPT store, even if I have bought personal items on there to use in my own classroom as well as clip art I bought for TPT and I don’t know if I need to somehow separate everything or not.

I just use my personal email that I used when I started on TPT and Paypal, but I do now have a separate email. I never changed it but anything new gets the new email.

How many average words are your blog posts?
@BeccaDavis3 жыл бұрын
Totally depends on the post! Some posts are about particular songs, and those are short-- about 700-800 words and others are round ups and talk about a lot of things, and average about 1800. I try to mix up the length from blog to blog to switch it up!
