I've had a number of these dogs, and I absolutely love them. Some claim that they might be a bit too rowdy for little children; but all five of my children were raised with GSPs, and we had no trouble at all. They are very devoted to the family, love to play and swim, and are fun to train. The training is important, since they can be stubborn if left undisciplined. Their nails are like iron and grow quickly. Even long walks along a beach don't wear them down; and since the nails are black, you can't find the quick when you want to clip them. Your pups look great and remind me of the ones I had. Very sweet and playful, and for some reason GSP pups smell like chocolate to me..

Just having one puppy to raise is a lot of work. They are so gosh darn cute though! When my dog was a puppy I couldn't wait for those little needle teeth to fall out. She was so cute but so mouthy while she was teething. Once she lost those teeth she never put her teeth on ud again. Thanks for sharing their growth with us. Love them! Cute Pups Linda. As a Hunter myself I know the German Short Hair Pointer's are one of the finest Breed's for Bird Hunting their is. And these are nice specimens of that. My Father and I had English Setters and Lab's. I always wanted one of your types but never got around to it I guess. Good luck with the Pup's and I hope you find great homes for them.

Still loving those pups. I got a new fur baby for Christmas. She weighs 2 pounds now. She is 1/2 shih tzu and 1/2 toy poodle. She is precious and her best friend is our 80 pound yellow Lab Bear. We also have two Dachshunds. Can you tell we are a dog family? Lol.

Thank you so very much for sharing puppy mayhem with us. I managed to talk my husband out of one after he saw how much work they can be. I'm bedridden so it would be mainly on him for training. I'd rather be get an older dog. I can't wait to see Struts new wife. hopefully Sage and she will get along ok. just nosey but what do you do with all those pumpkins stacked next to the puppy pen? And have you ever done a home tour? I also love how you do your hair. I can't figure out how to get mine to look like that. it keeps falling flat but it's down to my tailbone. could you please think on doing a tutorial? Thank you very much. Oh, they are adorable!!!! I just lost one of my doxies, Thumper, on the 9th of this month. I know he's in doggy heaven now. He was such a bozo and was 16 1/2 years old. Out of my six doxies since 1995; I only have one left and that is his sister Wiggles. She is a long-haired sable doxie. Funny how you can get such a variety from the same breed. I just published my first book on Amazon. Guess what it's about? A mixed blood-hound and golden retriever named Max. It was free for the first 5 days and will be free again toward the end of February, so put it on your wish list. I'll tell you what I think what are those puppies doing out in your cold garage even though you have a heat lamp it still cold for those puppies. I breed Boston Terriers and they are home raised inside my living room!

I own a Boston Terrier and a German Shorthaired Pointer they are FAR different breeds Bostons can not handle cold weather GSP are hunting dogs and love being outside so the heated garage is fine for them.
