Edge and Christian did in fact have a very short brief stint as a reunited tag team prior to Wrestlemania 27. It just had to be cut short due to Edges retirement after Wrestlemania 27

The money in the bank contract is only meant to be valid for 1 year; they used to mention that more back in the mid 2000s, when the match type was new, but yeah, I think "offically" if you won MITB and held it until the next year, you would lose your right to face the Champion... but in fairness when have WWE ever cared about their own rules?

Originally there used to be only 1 match at Wrestlemania, and you'd have 4 RAW guys going up against 4 SmackDown guys. The winner could challenge for any title they wanted, but I'm not sure if now the Blue brand has to challenge for the blue belt and the red brand likewise? Could the SmackDown winner cash-in on the RAW champion? Could the Women's MITB winner cash-in on a men's title holder and win?

I think it was a bit of a missed opportunity with Austin Theory cashing in on the United States Title. He could've made history of holding the briefcase for an entire year. Although there are rumors that the MITB PLE won't happen anymore and the two MITB Ladder matches are returning to WrestleMania again. Many look at Theory cashing in for the U.S. Title as a dumb move but I look at it as Triple H elevating ALL titles in the WWE and making every title feel important that's not just the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.

It was a dumb move. It's like eleveting 24/7. Why don't make that title a mid card title then ?... Ok i get it some people also saying the reason behind Theory's loss is that Triple H don't think he is ready for the title yet. Ok but .... why don't you have him failed against Roman ? I mean atleast it would be a respectful loss tbh but No He looked like a idiot when he cashed in for a Mid card title the title he already won previously and also looked completely idiot by lossing the match. And people still thinks that Triple will repackage Theory. Sure he will get a repacakage but he won't gonna get push he isn't a future of the company in eyes of Triple H. Imagine if same briefcase was won by either Johnny Gargano or Karrion Kross would they still lost the briefcase ? ....would they still cashed in for the US title ? ...ofcourse they won't they will sucessfully cashed in for the World title and won them.... now where the fuck is relevence in this case ? All i can see is favourtism. The same favouritism I hated during Vince's era.

It was a waste. Why is HHH immune to criticism. The only way to fix this is if next week Adam Pearce comes out and hands the briefcase back to Theory because of a technicality that it was already an open challenge or you can only cash in on the world title

The closest we got to a double cash in, in real life would have been if Edge had held the MITB briefcase until Wrestlemania 22. He cashed it in on John Cena at New Year’s revolution in 2006, but if he had it for just three more months it would have been a year along with RVD winning it at that Wrestlemania.

E&C were suppose to reunite when Christian came back. But, plans got leaked and they switched it up. 2 years later, Edge had stated if had not retired then. Him and Christian would have reunited before Christian turned heel, and they would have feuded for the title at Wrestlemania. Retiring Edge in the process.

The only reason I can’t see the rock and Roman teaming is because his schedule would be to busy to build the storyline even if Roman and the other team had a good build in the rock’s absence there’s still no guarantee he’ll be allowed to wrestle if he’s scheduled to be in a film they won’t want him running the risk of injury which is why even the wrestlemania Hollywood match is still a big IF

I was the champion and after the rumble the winner of the rumble and someone else were fueding to see who faced me at Mania and the fued ended at no way out with a match between the both of them and me as the special ref. And the winner of the match faced me at Mania.

With the double money in the bank thing, back when the brands were split with single titles per brand and they each had a money in the bank in the early 2010s in surprised that they never did something where the raw mitb holder would cash in and win only to be attacked by the Smackdown mitb holder and get a cash in from them to lose the title to the smackdown mitb holder

I've would've played WWE 2K16 longer when it was on XBOX Game Pass, but I just couldn't stand being forced to use the pin/submission escape which involved the stick since I prefer the button mash (hold in 2K22) and was mad that it couldn't be changed. It reminds me of both SVR 2008 and 2009 where there were no manual targeting in the game which made multi person matches a nightmare especially if it was a tornado tag match or ladder match.

Swapping numbers has actually been done, and there's been no penalty. In Royal Rumble 1989 Million Dollar Mam Ted Dibiase swapped his number with The Big Bossman or Akeem. Well actually he bought No.30 from one of them. Kurt Angle in RR 2005 stole Nunzio's number and there was no penalty. I can't remember the year and I think it's the year we're not supposed to remember but Eddie swapped/stole Flair's number when they hugged. Though he was made to give it back. This was the year where Benoit won it right? There's also the year Test was taken out and Austin gave the number to the attacker. Then Foley showed up and eliminated Orton and himself.

Im late to 2k22 mainly because I held off due to 2k20s massive buggy release but I legit just played the double contract storyline and went wait how is this legal by all counts ko should at least forfeit the belt and have a proper triple threat match but its not our fault he was benched for over a year most cases wwe vacates titles and stuff for that why stop now felt like a story line that just drew the story out to make it longer was a massive waste of time in my opinion
