Sorry, his voice does nothing for me, At all. And i have Irish ancestry, love trad Irish singing. Its all about “ tone of voice” for me. And he just does,nt do it.

He's not a traditional Irish singer. Not sure why you made that comparison. This cover is probably as good as the original. If you can't recognise this you're not a real music fan.
