"The NICS - set up by the permanent provisions of the Brady Act, which frankly should have been called the NRA Act - is run by the FBI and is constitutional because Congress has power to tell federal employees what to do. Congress also has power to offer financial assistance to the States to enable them to report criminal convictions, mental commitments, and other disabilities that render a person ineligible to obtain a firearm. The States’ ability to make these reports to federal authorities was enhanced by the NRA-supported NICS Improvements Act of 2007." - Stephen P. Halbrook, National RINO Association, Institute for Limp-wristed Acquiescence, 2018 Just a few things to unpack in that garbage by Halbrook: -NRA thinks Congress has the power to tell federal employees to violate the Constitution -NRA thinks Congress has the power to violate Constitution and give money to states in order for them to violate the Constitution -NRA thinks databases of people with lesser rights = constitutional. -NRA said the Brady Act was their idea and they want credit for it.

If the person doesn't have a long and recent criminal rap sheet of committing violence on others, then there's no good reason to say they shouldn't be trusted with a firearm. A person could be convicted of a felony for simply driving too fast. What does something like that have to do with trusting them with a firearm? There was a time when crimes were only considered felonies when they were the most egregious crimes a person could commit, nowadays you could catch a felony for spilling the milk(being hyperbolic).

Absolutely. If you are to dangerous to own a firearm in society due to a felony, then you are to dangerous to be released.

Andrew, I would argue that the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights only apply to U.S. citizens.

His point - at least in this video - was that the individual should have their firearms taken away only after it was determined in court that they were in fact an illegal alien here illegally. His point being that any one of us could just be stripped of our rights because some partisan cop says he thought we were an “illegal immigrant”.

@JimYeats Exactly. Or, maybe your ex-wife, a scumbag judge, and some dumb pigs think you need to be "red-flagged"

So....non citizens can be murdered or enslaved without fear of any penalties? You're a leftist. If you didn't know before, now you know.

Careful about buying or making guns just to turn in at a buyback. You are likely to need an FFL since you are setting out to make a profit.

Is the New Life Delivery Chapel a "gun-free zone?" Sounds like entrapment.
