I think it's kind of a statement about how this game works that even though this person is playing out of their mind and extremely optimal, there's still moments where they get hit by unavoidable bullshit and almost die. Unlike 2016, you can play this game "correctly" but the enemies will sometimes hit you with a big "fuck you" of stuff you had no real way of getting away from. Not exactly good design in my eyes.
