Surprisingly, the same effect happened with people who were taught ESL (English Sign Language) in the deaf community. The deaf who learned ASL (American Sign Language) did not have this issue. Thoughts are that there are more descriptors in ASL. It shows that the language we learn has an impact on the way we think.
