Been looking forward to this series for a while. My challenge to you is to now is keep the money to 2 nuggets. It may seem impossible. But I believe you are up to the challenge. And I think you will be more pleased with yourself if you can do it. I see a suggestion on building a silage producing silo. I once asked you if those were a real thing in life. I believe you said they were. ( I like to keep my gameplay realistic ) It is still a little 'cheaty". But if you can stick to no more nuggets, I think it would be ok. Lastly, I am hoping this harder challenge will expand you research into MODs that have smaller, older, cheaper types of equipment. More realistic for someone short on cash. Get you out of the typical equipment that you have used in the past. So much more interesting to the viewers in my opinion. (But more work for you, Ha) Love how the map maker made cleaning up the yard COST you money instead of making you money. Bravo map maker. Can't wait for the next video. PS. You are a pro, and expert creator. I hope you take my comments as suggestions only, and not criticisms, or directorial. You by no means need that.

Whenever I work with silage, I usually just go with fermenting silos as it saves a lot of time. Just using swath (or windrower), a foragewagon and dump it in. You also get rid the task of compacting it (which I hate and thus is my main reason to go with silos). Now I know you like realism and I have no actuall knowledge if fermenting silos is real or not.. But at least I could give you a tip about it and you can look into it if you feel like it.

That's a lot of silage there. Personally, I would have opted for chopping some of the trees down and leasing a round baler with a wrapper built into it. You then go and sell the silage bales. Maps like this really require that you look at sell prices for what you can do with a tiny tractor and bank balance, and go from there. If you really want to get rid of the bushes add in the "Real Mower" mod. That mod saves me having to look at a lot of bushes in fields or sticking up through machinery. Why that isn't a part of the base game I will never know.

I have a theory on why you're not seeing consistent mown grass strips when you mow the grass: Farming Simulator takes the total number of grass plants in front of the mower and places the equivalent on the ground behind the mower when passing over it. I have noticed that the straw function on harvesters will only output straw in small amounts at intervals when it has enough straw to dispense for one section of straw that may be several individual plant graphics worth. It's probably to cut down on having to render multiple tiny straw piles on the ground. Grass also usually places in patterns this may have something to do with that. Grass also cannot be placed under bushes, and bushes don't count as grass, and take up whatever their placement outline on the map shows them as taking up. I hope that makes some kind of sense.

It also looks as if the map author included some fake grass strips around the map. Not too many it would seem. It might be fixable by selecting "grass" on a sower or planter, I forget which, and manually replanting grass on areas that have no grass. You could also repaint using the map editing feature, but I would only recommend this if it actually deducts the cost from your bank balance to do so. Note: Grass texture painted or repainted down seems to take a while before it will produce an initial amount of grass. This seems fair, if you have no option but to go that route.

Interesting start. I like the fact that you are restricting urself from collecting the nuggets. I enjoy how you incorporate the maps fetcher into ur series. Makes me think if we are in the objective of restoration on the map, will u also restore the already build production chains on the map? Anywho, curious to see how u deal with all that grass now :P

Nice to see you’re back up and running and starting a new series. I like that you’re doing a different map. Everyone seems to have jumped on court farms which is a great map but with lots of creators doing it, it’s getting a bit oversaturated. Keep up the good work.

The bga is cheap to buy and is really good it makes methane which you can sell at the gas station at the bottom of the map alien Jim has put tankers in the shop to transport the methane

I used to try and switch the currency for each series, but as it is an overall setting instead of a map setting it tended to get mixed up very quickly. As it has little other effect I leave it on pounds now.

Unfortunately, with no loans and next to no money to start, I needed a way to get enough starting cash to buy land and initial equipment. However, I am restricting myself to using as few collectables as possible and will be subtracting their value from the final result. If I can get away with only getting the 2 I will and I'll be trying to earn everything else. @diggerb26 - I wanted to use the resources of the map and I have to go hunting for the collectables if I want to use them. Just starting with £150 negates that.

The title of the video is accurate too. I am only starting with £50 and an old truck and I won't be using any loans to fund the farm, only the resources available on the map.
