I have listened to this video without looking several times already. I only look at the video when I found the sound is the best and see what bass it is. I have been surprised by the brands I did not know such as Tatchi and SusBass. And, the vintage Ps sound dope.

I think my ear just sucks because while many fairly different, I can't find $5,000+ differences in tone between any two. Some definite standouts though. The Valley Arts took me by surprise! The yamaha bbne sounded dope too.

I remember about 6 months into playing bass guitar many decades ago some friends or people that i'd meet & through my love for the bass guitar i'd eventually talk about them & judt some of the few greats that had been out for quite some time & the new bass players that had arrived on the scene & id always get hit with all bass guitars come in 4 strings & " they all sound the same " to which i obviously corrected them on & i Thank You for doing this upload of various sounds & styles to prove this is still the case... Sure musician's who'll pick a bass guitar as an extra tool to use as their go to instrument isn't bass but at least they knew this but i think , & this is just my opinion , we are born to be drawn to an instrument that we either new from the start or find out just by chance & i was the latter as i had no intention of picking up an electric bass guitar until i did so to shut my friend up , as he kept bugging me to pick one up as he was looking for a bass player as i kept telling him i only mess about on the drums & acoustic guitar just for fun & to pass the time & how shocked was I when i did eventually pick up an electric bass guitar & i instinctively knew i wanted to plsy this instrument for fun or in a band & its a love affair thats lasted 3 decades & still never tire of hearing bass guitars being played & i honestly believe i was meant to be a bass player & whether i did it for fun or professionally was down to me... Its great to see that with regards all popular instruments there are still those willing to pick them up & learn to play them alone or are taught & that music is still being kept alive by them... The Music Industry that i grew up knowing has been long time dead but it does my heart good that at least via social websites we know there are those who are picking up instruments to play because they want to & love it & so did solo artists & bands of the past but were as there were an unumerable amount of solo acts & bands sign every day from all over the world they at least knew they could take what they love & make a very good profit off of it , even if Managers did rip them off , & to see younger players do this knowing theres next to no chance of this happening & its not because they arent good enough but that the Music Industry of old sadly passed away by the year 2000 as the 90s was the last decade to have enough of solo acts & bands & the masses from all over the world would pay to see them Live but now its a whole different story which id rather not go into but old & younger musicians will know what im talking about... Again Thank You for your sweet playing on various bass guitars from certain years & how they dont all sound the same but in the right hands came make music out of a basic groove & then take it from there... Keep on playing your various instruments as we need to keep passing this on or it will completely die out & it'll be a sad day in history if that ever happened... Yes ill admit i mostly go back & listen to music that was made before i was born & then i kept listening to all the various genres & styles of music as i grew up but though its great to see the talent isnt just out there its better than it ever was but everyone is playing alone... Even if your not making much or just breaking even if you formed a band tl just play in certain places like Pubs/Clubs/Weddings et al at least youll be playing together as most popular instruments were meant for this & though you can go it solo , you just cant beat being in a room with like minded " musician's who want to play together " even if its just for fun but its a case of " Each To Their Own " In light of this still ongoing coronavirus and its variants stay safe and healthy wherever you are in this world... .....
