I was dealt 4 Aces with a kicker. The kicker was a 2. I was so excited I wasn’t paying attention. I only held the aces. So I lost $6,000! BUT… the very next hand gave me $4,000 and the hand after that gave me $1,250, so it kind of made up for it!

It's deal draw where you get paid on both the deal and draw. Looks like he gave away 6000 dollars because he had 4 aces with a kicker lit up on the deal.. released the kicker and got a 6 for the 800 pay instead of the 2000 (at 5 dollar denom)

It’s because I made a HUGE mistake while playing. It pays on the deal and the draw. The deal gave me 4 aces with a kicker, which it paid me for. I was so excited I didn’t hold the kicker. So on the draw it only paid for the 4 aces. No kicker. So it should have been $35,000 but because I didn’t hold the kicker it was $29,000. It’s in the description.

@@jesseh17 he threw away the 5th card on his draw hand. He forgot to just hold all cards. His original hand would have a 4\3\ or 2, but he didn't hold the low card for the draw. So he loses 6k$. when these machine's truly malfunction, they lock up like your Windows 98 use to do lol. Hand will be voided, but remaining credits will be given back as cash.

Should this not be 35,000$? His dealt hand was 4aces with a kicker for 5000X5$, If he holds the kicker and draws to nothing he gets another 2000x5$ =10,000. I have played this machine before, hitting the draw button to all holds is considered Draw payable hand also. So this Math ends up with him losing 6,000$. Mistake in the heat of the moment i guess :(
