Same. I listened to this song as a middle schooler and took the lyrics literally as a toxic man/woman relationship (though the "slide your arm up under the spoon" line did imply drug abuse). Re-listening the song in college and realizing the entire song is about heroin addiction (50 Cent personifying heroin as an abusive boyfriend)....mind blown!
