@@Bcole3720Nobody is walking around in a pitch black house. There are usually a few lights left on to be able to see. What usually happens is the statue reflects a shadow depending on where you place it, making you think someone’s there. Plus, if you’re waking up in the middle of the night, you’re already discombobulated and can’t see, or think straight trying to make it to the bathroom, or kitchen for a late night snack. I know from experience. Stayed over a friend’s place who had a 5’11 life size Batman and it scared the hell out of me because I totally had forgotten all about it. It was a 2-story house, 5 bedrooms and that damn Batman standing in the corner at the other end of the hallway.
