@Sienes01 .. I'm going to have to keep a look out for those WYB coupons for the fruit.. didn't know about them so I guess I didn't know to look for them...

@Sienes01 I am relieved to know I am spending more because there are more of us in my household (and NOT because I am not doing it right lol). I spend about twice that, for four times as many people. Thanks, CeCe, for sharing; very nicely done videos!

@extremecouponexposed .. me too.. there is more in my household as well.. but I think I'm doing an okay job for what I'm spending.. I've got the food down to half of where I want it and focusing more on building it..

@Sienes01 I know some people do 2 binders or actually scout their stores first and then go home and prepare but that is way too much effort IMO. My preference is to travel light so I leave the binder in the car. In and out fast as possible.

@mssoftbrn Exactly! I am focused on building right now. I wanted to give myself a stopping point so after my grocery shopping is done what is left over is for stockpiling. When I initially started a few people told me $50 would be a generous amount and it is if you know what you are doing. I actually want to get it down to about $30 a week. By then I feel I will be shopping from my pantry so I will just be picking up weekly basics... Milk, bread and eggs, etc. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Love how you do your binder. Ive gotten way behind on clipping because it is so time consuming so i have been looking for a new way to store my coupons. I think im gonna steal your idea if you don't mind? Lol! Love your vids!

WOW impressive break down! I have not been able to bring my weekly expenses (food and non food) down to $50 per week. But the 4 of us are eating almost exclusively fruits and vegetables (not many coupons for those); very few boxes, jars, etc, which means very few of our food items can be bought with coupons. How many are in your household? I use a version of this coupon sorting method, but I have to put mine in a hanging file case. Thanks for sharing!

i also am trying to stick within my $50 weekly budget. I have a great food stockpile. Been focused strictly on that for the past 6 months and only occassionally shopping HAB when my husband needs razors. these past couple weeks I've been shopping Rite Aid, envious of all the CVS deals (we don't have one). I have been contemplating this binder method for a LONG time, lol. I have no card protectors free so I may just start this week.

@FoxxySAB LOL Actually there is dbl ring binder I was looking into. Need to find the YT'er who told me. It can expand to abt 2x the size of my current binder. Off the top of my head, I would say keep in the binder in the car but carry the SCP sheets. That way if you come across something you can just run to the car & clip it out. When I am doing planned shopping/hunting for specific items I put those coupons in an pouch/envelope &keep them in my purse. Binder sometimes attracts too much attn.

@extremecouponexposed I think whatever amount you need to cover your family is "right". I don't think there is a wrong way to coupon as long as you are saving money. I would definitely expect more to be spent if there were more than 1 person in the house. I actually want to get it down to $30 once my pantry is stocked. My goal is to spend about 75% less than I did prior to couponing. I would like to apply that money to savings and other things Thank you!

@mssoftbrn I think it is usually in the yellow flyer for publix. Either this sales week or last sales week publix had printable coupons for strawberries. I go with what is on sale and inexpensive. As long as I am eating fruit... I am ahead of the game :)

@cupcakesNcoupons Yay! Let's get them! The first week I was amazed how much that $50 was able to buy which included regular grocery and stockpiling. Once I get use to $50 I think I am knock it down to $40 or $30 and replenish my stockpile as I go.

@extremecouponexposed Well it is just me and I pick up stuff for my parents when their items go on sale. I been very lucky that Publix and Kroger have sales every week so between the two I can get produce fairly cheap. Plus Publix sometimes have coupons for free fruit WYB something else. Sales and coupons for the bagged salads take away my excuses. Thanks for watching/commenting

@cupcakesNcoupons Girl as long as you are saving money that is all that matters!!! Remember you're shopping for more than one person so you should expect to pay more. But can you imagine how awesome it would feel to not only feed your family but be able to stockpile on only $50 a week!?! Or less!

@CentSnatcher In the beginning I was just getting "stuff" cause it was free or cheap but I had to get focused on the real reason I start couponing and it was to save. I was surprised at how much food AND stuff I was able to get for $50. I think if I really put some effort into it I could probably get done to $30 since it is just me and keep my stockpile well maintained. Thanks for watching/commenting!

@ashleighnbm PLEASE go right ahead... That is why I posted the video. In the beginning I almost gave up cause I HATED all that clipping for hours. And you would only get half way through clipping and organizing. It became too much and then most of the coupons were never used! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hybrid method. 30-60 min tops per week spent working on the binder. Plus non of that flipping through 20-30 pgs just find out that the coupon your looking for expired. Thanks for watching/commenting!
