I have 19 of the them. The kicker is that five of them are lets say well loved and not mint. Three of them might be fine or very good if I'm lucky. The other two I picked up in dollar bins years ago. They are complete but would probably be considered reader copies. I guess they were ultra super loved. Thanks for the video, these and just the key's are my favorite series.

Avengers Annual 10 I have and love that book, then I would say Wolverine #1 limited is a favorite that I have. those Days of future past X-men books, I need to add those to my collection, missing both but I do have the hardcover for that story.

He stole his costume some super gadgets a little floating robot and a Legion flight ring , escaped to 20th century Metropolis to be near his idol, Superman. Loving these videos! I was lucky enough to help run and found a comic store in Mississippi where a copy of Wolverine Regular Series #1 came in and I was hard pressed to find any flaw in it. I bought the book for my own collection and paid $40, and sent it to the CGC for grading. It came back a 9.8 slabbed and sealed. I was ELATED!

Wow! I”m 67 and still have all my Marvels from 1967-1969. Anything drawn by Jack Kirby. Plus the Spider Man with Mary Hand on the cover. My uncle had the Thor Vs Hercules and I thought it was one of the best Kirby drawn books, but I never got one myself.

Additionally, I have x16 copies (so far) of Teen Titans #12 (1st Batman Who Laughs)... My 1st x11 copies have been graded by CGC. x10 came back as 9.8(s) and x1 is a 9.6. I have three on the list. I have one Wolverine 1 Limited Series at NM/M, the production print of the last page, and both are getting signed by Joe Rubinstein (plan on getting Miller and Claremont to sign both as well). I have Wolverine 1 continuous series in very good condition, and I just got a Batman: The Dark Night Returns 1st print in an apparent NM/M condition for $50. I plan submitting (at local cgc certified comic shop) the Batman comic for Miller's signature and cgc grading tomorrow!

I specifically asked the vendor what print it was, he said 1st print, it is a third print. I asked about condition and he said NM, it's not, it had defects. I will be asking for a refund. On a related note I bought a Batman: The Dark Knight Returns graded at 9.8 from the same lcs for $650 including tax and submitted that for the cgc Miller signature event.

I was collecting in the 80s but stopped, to my regret, in the 90s. About 2 years ago I decided it would be a sound retirement investment. I managed to go from the 34 comics that I had kept all those years to now having over 2,300 inventoried. I'm almost 53, so I figure in 10-15 years I'll have a good base for a lifeline retirement activity/small biz. These lists you and other KZbinrs are producing are very helpful and will be put to good use. Many thanks for that!

I like your videos very much , I started collecting comics in 1969 , I stopped buying new comics in 1994 . After that I just collected back issues . I had a total of 25,000 comics , all the 70s and 80s Super Heroes , I had doubles and trebles of the key books from that era and some from the 60s but I sold most of them in the early 2000s , I needed the money , I couldn't eat comic books , I have only about 2000 left . May I should have gone on a strict diet and kept the books ! LOL !

I also had a chance to buy The first appearance of Lobo .However I went for the second appearance of Starlord. A Bonus was that it was signed buy both Claremont and Byrne

Yes, The Joker only lasted 9 issues. BTW, I do have Issue # 1 (I don't remember how much I paid for it), and a handful of others.

Great video Bueller. I have 16 in my collection. Most are close to NM, probably could get them there with a press. My most cherished book on the list is Wolverine mini series #1. First comic my uncle gave me and the first comic my wife ever bought me when I had to sell my other copy. It is double signed by Chris Claremont and Joe Rubinstein graded CGC 9.6. Thanks for the video.

Nice vid glad Mcfarlane's spawn got some love here. The freaks first app is not spawn 216, just a heads up. The freak first appears in spawn 37. Spawn 216 is where Mcfarlane came back to do the cover art. Then some issues later we go in for the homage run. The issue spawn 216 is were Malebolgia possess the body of the freak to kill on earth and get vengeance on spawn

I'm surprised I have as many as I do: 11 (listed below). Most importantly, all but one are in VF+ - NM. The one is Killing Joke 1st print which was tragically water-damaged in a hurricane (along with the Fireside Books Origins of Marvel Comics). But even not counting it, I still have 11 because of 2 copies of Batman 357. Best of all, almost all of my copies were bought for COVER price off the newsstand. So my .50 cent purchase of X-Men 141 is worth $90. Pretty good return on investment. But of course too much sentimental value to part with.
