“Under the radar” refers to a property of radar that makes ground based radar unable to sense very low flying objects due to what is called ground clutter. So a plane that doesn’t wish to be seen by radar flys very close to the ground almost hitting tree tops and the radar won’t show the plane on its screen.

"The old college try" and "take a chill pill" used to be more commonly used decades ago. Those particular phrases are not in use much anymore, but they are valid idioms in American English.

Love the video, and most of the expressions. I say most, because some of them do change with time, especially in America where the language morphs faster than in most countries. I often date myself when I use certain expressions (I'm pushing 70 here), so I have to be cognizant of who I'm talking to! In addition, you have idioms that go with certain professional territories, for example, "let's take it offline", or "let me circle back". I'm sure people can think of many more. Anyway, great video!
