Today I'm trying Nasi Lemak for my morning breakfast, then I visit the Twin Petronas Towers and this famous Bird Park her. At night I go to Chinatown and feel the vibrant vibes of the city, Kuala Lumpur. What else should I try?

U can’t say skip Malaysia cuz u just hv been to one small part of KL city which is less than 10% of what KL has to offer.. You have not explore to other states in Malaysia.. Your comparison is not valid.. Besides your comparison is not Apple to Apple, u made comparison between Country (Malaysia) to other Cities (Bangkok / Bali). And you have 50 bucks and spent like a king and went to high end places ie luxury mall , eating at fancy restaurant and taking grab for leisure ofcourse that 50 bucks dry fast. Why don’t you take public transport instead? Example LRT/ MRT or free public buses.. Find modest eating places; there are plenty of them.. FYI, Malaysian do eat breakfast and not necessary Nasi Lemak, they have light breakfast such as toast bread with jem/ kaya or steam bread, Half boiled eggs, noodles, dim sum and simple English breakfast… You didn’t do your homework or research before coming over to Malaysia and giving some wrong information, bad impression about the country when telling the world “skipped Malaysia”. That’s kinda nasty .. Well, saw this video few years back on FB and now reposting it again on YT.. What’s the purpose? Lack of content? I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♀️ anyways, Shame on you.

Regarding the disappointment of not able to go up the PETRONAS Towers, it's actually a blessing in disguise for you because the building itself is mostly office building and tourists only allowed to access until the skybridge level (KL Tower is better alternative to view the Kuala Lumpur City landscape) 4:02 Regarding the KL Bird Park although $16 might be expensive but at least you make the effort of explore some nature in the midst of city rather than sticking only at urban areas 5:30 Maybe if you just order small size then you may have some cash left not just for an egg tart at Secret Recipe but maybe also a beer at nightclub near Bukit Bintang? 6:22 However your remark on skipping Malaysia can be hurtful for Malaysians although you managed to explore some uniqueness of Kuala Lumpur itself. Yes, Malaysia may not as well known in South East Asia compared to Singapore and Thailand but if you do some homework there will be more to explore. But anyway thanks Uptin for this video exploring Kuala Lumpur at a budget, trying so hard to find it in your various channels. And hopefully when you come to Malaysia again you can see more unique sides of our diversity and cultures.

Singaporean here. I gotta stand up for my Northern neighbours. Malaysia is a huge country and KL is just the largest, most cosmopolitan city there. Malaysia's most charming places are outside of this city - the food is better, the sights are charming, and prices are lower.

My friend, as someone born and bred in KL, the honest truth is that KL doesn't truly represent Malaysian culture. Its way too generic and overpriced. If you want a true Malaysian experience, then you need to head to the old towns in various states.
