They have a long history of matching queer people with anti-queer and pro-conversion therapists. Many people turn to better help when they are in their darkest place, and are told that they are depressed because they’re gay and they deserve it. I'd suggest reading the article about Betterhelp by therapyhelpers, but basically providing metadata for advertising purposes including user's sensitive information like age, location, etc. Also not providing adequate care or ghosting users, as well as inconsistent terms of service, deceptive pricing... the list goes on...

@@omazingpaige this isn't a personal attack by any means, but here's why: They aren't HIPPA complaint, they sell sensitive confidential information to anyone who'll buy it, they hire "therapists" without licenses and life coaches that they pass off as therapists, the list goes on and on. They've had so many "scandals" but they're actually serious issues. If a provider is offering any sort of healthcare service, the practitioners they hire need to be legitimately licensed and they have to follow HIPPA guidelines, but this company likes to skirt around that by operating in a legally gray area using the same excuses companies like airbnb use to avoid having to take any accountability. Better Help targets an audience that is likely to be vulnerable and takes advantage of that. I encourage you to do your own research.
