Imagine everyone would just try to go for escapes and ignore their team mates - that would destroy the game. Imagine an asymmetrical game where one side can get a win streak of 50 - that means something is wrong with the game.

Honestly, words well said. You can't complain about one person being "everything wrong with the game" when you're LITERALLY setting a bounty on someone to make everyone be toxic as hell to them. Disclaimer/: I am a killer main, I’ve re-watched this again and I still find these children hilarious. “yOu RUinEd THE gamE bY SUrVIVing UWU”. (Referring to ‘toxic’ gameplay.) Isn’t that the point of the game? Flashlights, pallets, etc were implemented into the game to aid with escape. That’s the point of the game. “GEn RUshing is TOXIC”. There are virtually no bigger objectives for survivors in game. Gen grind, loot some chests, and altruistic saves of other survivors. “OmG yoU HId IN THe locKER”. Yes. Before huntress, that was the only purpose lockers served. As long as you still do some of the main objectives, it is okay to hide occasionally. In fact, for less aggressive players- stealth is the best tactic. You cannot kill the killer, you can only stun, loop, or blind them. I’m not saying that is a bad thing, but for players that are less adept or those that just want to survive it is an important part of the game. Especially in a realistic standpoint. If you are being chased by a rampaging killer, there may be times you have to hide and prepare for escape. I don’t hear so many people complaining when characters hide in horror movies.
