Yes i bought one in Sri Lanka and used. Yes i agree heating is great. Can save the Gas too. But there is a problem. While cooking over spellings blocks the tiny holes of the cooker. Difficult to clean and also getting rusted very soon.

Taking extra care, mine lasted more than 10 years with some chipping off due to bumps by mishandling the casseroles. Do not clean the burner. Just use toothbrush if holes clogged. base of Pots and Pans will not have carbon/soot buildup using this type of ceramic burner.

I bought a Marubishi 2-burner infrared gas stove four years ago. Based on my experience, it does save on gas but not 50%. When we were using a flame type burner a tank of LPG gas would last only for 1 month or 30 days. During the 4 years of using our infrared gas stove, an LPG tank lasts us 30 days plus 7 to 10 extra days. The downside of this type of stove is that the filament/plate gets worn out over time. Lately, we would hear a sort of "loud sound" when the flame setting is on high (no sound when the setting is on low). We were advised by the technician to have the filament/plate replaced. Replacing the filament/plate would cost us the same amount if we buy a new gas stove. Will I get another infrared gas stove? Probably not. I will buy the usual flame type gas stove.

True rating ranges from 40-50% Up to 50% savings in a controlled environment. I have tested this product while filming and cooking. It had 1.5MPa of gas, and right now, it has 1.3MPa of gas left after a week of cooking. The LPG savings are really noticable. Induction is better. On my Martin SG128 i can get almost 3 month out of a 20lb propane tank filled with 15lbs of propane. Can this unit go further with 15lbs? I know lpg and propane are not same but im pretty sure u can convert it easily.

YOU'VE PULLED MY LEG! TRICKED ME! NALANSI MO AKO! There is a flame flowing out from the meshes, but it is barely visible, because it is very thin and blue. Because of the infrared technology, which is made of almost like microscopic holes that adds pressure to the blue flame thrusting vertically straight up, as well as inhibits the red flame from going out. Also, it heats up quick, unlike to those conventional burners.
