Neil is always exhausted by the end as he's been up for about 72 hours setting up and directing the 100 mile😂 You can tell that's pure sleep deprivation when you ask him questions!

Top running Stephen! That was a nasty weekend to race. Huge kudos to the UK Ultra staff and volunteers for putting it all on in those awful conditions. Look forward to having a pop at this one next year. Good to see Neil make an appearance too. 😎🤘

The elements certainly conspired against you Steve but you overcame them. Merry Christmas

Great video Stephen, as always. I thoroughly enjoyed that race and it's great to see it all again from your perspective (although somehow I missed the long man, even being there in daylight!). Not sure how you managed without gloves, I had 2 pairs on at all times. Can't complain about the weather at all though - perfect for me (I hate the heat), and even the wind at the start was quite fun in places. Congrats on your finish, onto the next one.

Great video! Thanks for documenting the race. I was there too and it was my first 50 miler. What a day! I was very glad to see the finish line. The weather definitely made it more of an adventure!

Great video as always, brutal conditions, saw a lot of runners that day who showed grit in those conditions. All the best Alfriston Gareth 👍

That hill at 12:50 has to be one of the gnarliest on SDW, just pure gradient, no turns, no trees, just %%%% 😅 incredible running, the route alone is mad, let alone the insane weather. Super impressive.

Great video, thanks for posting. I just had some flashbacks to a trail 1/2m I did in a storm- exiliharating for sure. And enjoyable 😅

I had a HM that day and it was the first time my legs got cold during running! I felt quite brave doing that but yours is epic. You say you don't like wind but I feel you might take it over heat or?? Well done and thanks for sharing.

Nice work m8. I would say that without the weather the longer races can become booring :) but for some the race itself is enough without the extra challenge of the weather :)

Another great race day film 👍 How did you get on with the Petzl Nao RL?
@FilmMyRunСағат бұрын
@@colbvz3 I’ve had it for a while now and I love it. What I like is how balanced it is on my head unlike the terrible Fenix head torches which are so front heavy.
