@@StiltbeastStudios Yes!! Your clever, spray painted costume is definitely easier than my "once it's on, it's never coming off" sewn version!😹

Dude...wow! Love the end result on this. Well worth watching this to see all the little tid bits of value. I think the loctite foam would also work as a decent binder and sculptimg medium for a future burlap mask too. Badass transformation!🤘💀

Allen, I don't know where you get so much energy from, I thought you weren't going to record last night because of the airbrush lab. Excellent use of the mummy mask.

Awesome video. I will try to make as soon as I can get to one of the places mentioned. I already created and love the video on graveyard statues. I think mine came out pretty awesome. I wish I knew about the airbrush class. I have been dying to get one for a while now, but I want to go inexpensive. Any recommendations.

Seeing this made me wonder, do you have one of the new trick or treat studios Boris Karloff Frankenstein's monster masks/do you plan on getting one? From what I've seen it's a great looking mask with most of the copies I've seen having insanely great stock paint jobs

@anneargo-davies6924 жыл бұрын
@@StiltbeastStudios It was okay, the finale lost some of its punch because of the long wait. The new show has a good start, will have to see if they can pull it off or if people are done with zombies. I will never be done with zombies, or any other monster for that matter. After all I live in Lon Cheney hometown, where Tesla kept turning out the lights, and where America the Beautiful was inspired and written, and where I always give FULL SIZE candy bars on Halloween!

I love Halloween and making my own creepy costumes. Some years ago I became intolerant of contact lenses and had to go back to wearing glasses, which has created a huge dilemma for me at Halloween. Can I inspire you to create a mask of some sort for us visually impaired who can’t go without glasses? It’s a challenge!

you have my heart, you are wonderful!! thanks Warnen, lovely ! I am an artist which makes work which is kind strange, have gottena hellofa lota indeas from you sir! I lost a mask almost 14 years ago having it stolen from me at a party! Perhaps i will be able to make one to replace it! You are giving me that hope. It was a delicate mask, of a frogs body which resembled a situation where it got stuck to a motorcyclists face! the nose area was covered by the body, the legs were cling both sides of the eyes, it was wonderful. I set it down for only a minute and the sucker was gone, it broke my heart. As a mask collector, it was really crappy experience! I am not sure how I would construct such a delicate mask, but I will keep watching you may give me the tools, the techinques I can use to construct and replace the mask. Thank you, Kat!

@StiltbeastStudios3 жыл бұрын
mummies were not wrapped in gauze, i dont like the look of gause, its not an injury, they were wrapped in linnen, the canvas is more accurate to the look. But you can use gauze on one that you make then I will be dissapointed lol.

Hey Allen, Another great instructional: Any chance this technique would work in an outdoors (In NorthEast USA) would hold up? Like the techniques but for an outdoor display is fidgety for us Yankees. BTW: Halloween was a bust for us here in the NYC area. We live in an elevated home and prayed for trick-o-treating. We designed a PVC shoot to deliver candy from our entrance-way deck to the kids. (something we picked up online). Would've worked great but city restrictions prohibited the kids from the whole door to door. Praying for a better 2021.
@StiltbeastStudios3 жыл бұрын
Im sure it will be better. As far as the mask goes- paint the foam to protect from UV and contact cement does pretty well outside actually.
