Wow, our tastes are scarily similar. Almost all I've seen multiple times (especially Suspiria, Roar, Brazil, Perfect Blue, etc) and are in my top own personal top 50. The only ones that I love that are not in this list are The Thing, World of Tomorrow, and Princess Mononoke. Honestly with everything stressful going, now is the time for a Ghibli marathon. Most of them are very healing for the soul (except for GotF that one's a liiiiitle heavy right now)

If you haven't seen it yet, you have to check out Ken Russell's film Gothic. It's an incredibly surreal interpretation of the evening that inspired Mary Shelley to write Frankenstein and how she and her companions maybe unleashed a demon but could also just be insane. I'm not really sure how to describe it other than it features a bunch of human-size porcelain dolls, a woman with eyes for nipples, and a soundtrack by Thomas Dolby of "She Blinded Me with Science" fame. Oh, and there's also an orgy

- One day, I was in a Wal Mart looking for Bone Tomahawk, and I asked an employee where it was on the shelves. He warned me it gets gruesome. I said, "I know what I'm about, son." Great list, but worth noting: Inland Empire wasn't shot on a RED, RED didn't introduce their first camera until 2007, and the first movie to shoot on it was Steven Soderbergh's Che Guevara two-parter. Inland Empire was shot on a consumer DV tape camera, which is even more bananas.
