In case someone else's having issues with the cable stitch: it doesn't matter if you twist the thread on the needle to one side or the other, it does matter that, in the next step, the loop has to go to the opposite side!!

I particularly enjoyed seeing your fly stitch at 4:47. I usually see this stich more tightly bound for use in a leaf, but this one was more loose and made a cute pattern. Almost like a little bud of wheat.
