Ok, well she is right 50.8% of the people in Hounslow weren’t born in Britain, but 54% identify as British. It’s up to you and have a think about which group that lady classes you in, because you might consider yourself integrated and British, but if you aren’t born here, most Reform voters will think of you in this way, no matter how much they bleat on about ‘integration’. Do you walk around with a passport around your neck so they can identify which group you fit into? See the comment above mine for an example.

I have lived half my life in Italy, coming here from London. I am fully integrated and yet, even with dual citizenship, would never call myself Italian. I simply am not since I was born and brought up by British folk in England. Italians would laugh at me for sure if I claimed to be Italian. I would never dream of making such an insane and disrespectful claim. Aspects of my way of behaving are Italian and I can “feel” and “identify” with (not as) Italian things.
