@moutenal-mustaqbal66524 жыл бұрын
What makes your channel different from others is that your way of teaching allows us to understand a written sentence in turkish... After watching your grammar videos now I can easily spot that in a sentence who is being reffered like if verb has an 'm' or an 'n' at end. So your way of teaching just doesn't give us loads of vocab but also makes us understand the sentence structure. So I'd rather request you to make more videos on grammar as it's the most essential although the hardest part of a language. Whilst learning grammar through examples we can gain handful of vocab as well.

Teaching Turkish phrases is a wonderful idea - thank you Muki - and your approach is great. What about a 6th video on this topic with phrases such as Estağfurullah, Sakın and/or düşünsene? I used the latter word lately when explaining something to my Turkish husband and he literally dropped dead 😊
@LearnTurkishwithMuki4 жыл бұрын
That's awesome! It's always fun and cool to learn these phrases because the reaction you get from native speakers is priceless. I have been living in the United States for almost 16 years now and people still look at me with amazement when I use an idiomatic expression in English or know a fact about American history. Regardless, though, you are right about me making another video about the expressions we use in Turkish. I have some other videos lined up for now, but I'll revisit this topic simply because it deserves more air time. :)

Hi Muki, Hope you are doing well. I really want to tell you that I am now a fan of your style of teaching turkish language. I have been learning turkish language for a month now and I watched a lot of videos of KZbin for this but the day I came across your video I just stick to that because I want to learn this language and want to know every detailing about this language. There are a lot of suffixes in turkish language and it is very tough for an Indian to learn that because we don't use suffixes in our language Hindi or English. But when I watched your tutorial videos on KZbin I found it very helpful for me. The way you explain turkish language with each and every small detail is actually outstanding. I salute you for that. Whatever you tell us about turkish language in your videos, I pay a lot of attention to that and watch your videos on repeat as when it comes to turkish language I can trust you blindly as you are a native speaker of this amazing language plus you have immense experience in teaching turkish language and you not only make us learn the turkish language but you also make us aware of the turkish culture and you always give us a background of very word that you teach us. I really love that I always wanted to learn turkish from a native speaker like you and I also wanted to speak turkish language like a native speaker please keep making videos on turkish language and culture I noticed that you posted a video one year back since then you haven't posted anything so please it is a request to you please please keep teaching us your beautiful language and make more explanatory videos on that. I know my comment is way too long to read and I am not even sure whether you will read it ever or not but if you do so then please please post more videos on your KZbin channel. I really want to learn this from you till the time I start speaking turkish like a native. Do you teach on Instagram as well? I searched you there but did not find your account. Lots of love and respect ❤️❤️ Your öğrenci Pooja from India 😊

I have a few freinds and I'm on my way to learning but I only catch one or two words a conversation. When I watch a TV show I get so many more words. One freinf helped me out a lot telling me to make sure I learn the alphabet first. It has really helped. Merhaba! 1.Artık means eg. at last, however er geç is a synonym of artık "at last"? And does artık mean also "now"? 2.Kinda different topic now: dan/den - eg. from somewhere or through, from. If I wanted to say "from Ankara" would it sound the same when saying "through Ankara"? Is there any diference? How to differ it? 3.How is it with "ve"? It means "and"? For instance: I like fruits and vegetables - Meyve ve sebze seviyorum? Honestly I don't see it very often and I don't know how it works. 4.Same question with: Kez, defa, ya. Those two first mean "times" something and quantity, however ya propably means "yet" and a few different meanings? 5.If I wanted to say: How beautiful! Or, how comfortable - what to use for a meaning "how" in this case? 6.And last but not least - in English when saying about our plans and what are we going to do today, we use present tense. Eg. Today I'm going for a shopping, then I'm going to clean my house, and so on... In Turkish can we use the same form with present tense (yor) or we need future tense? Görüşürüz!

mam i have a question why there are so many person markers in Turkish language? u use" K" for Biz but there is ,iz,ız and many more i need to clear this doubt but no sources i found i will wait for your answer!!
@LearnTurkishwithMuki4 жыл бұрын
Actually, you can look at it this way. There were many plural suffixes in old Turkish thousands of years ago. Some of the most prominent plural suffixes were 'k' and 'z' in addition to the plural suffix we now use as -lAr. Over time, 'k' and 'z' stayed in modern Turkish in two ways. One way it stayed to indicate plural is marking plural persons in verb conjugation and 'to be' conjugation and the second way it stayed in the language is in some words, such as 'diz' (knees), agiz (mouth, two lips) ikiz (twins), biz (we) siz (you). Notice how these are permanent plurals, as in you people have two knees and animals have at least two knees, twins are born as two babies, etc. Over time -lAr took over the job of marking temporary plurals. When you need to make a singular noun plural, -lAr is the suffix you use. The last thing is, in modern Turkish, speakers don't even realize that 'k' and 'z' are already indicating plural. Also, you can make these seemingly plural nouns, such as 'diz' and 'ikiz', make plural again with -lAr. It's redundant in a way, but commonly used and accepted. For example, ikizler, dizler... Does it make sense?
