I think she does a great job as the hostess....but it took a minute to get used to her. Kudos to Alan, whose job is more difficult than it appears. A willing "fool," he's the icebreaker who often acts as a buffer and quietly helps Sandi keep the show moving in the right direction. Two years ago, I had never heard of QI...now, I scour the internet for shows. All those seasons! How wonderful for all the folks watching week after week in real time.
