#27 Is a trick question.Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun, which means it spends less time on the opposite side of the sun.Over many years time Mercury is the closest to all the planets.Venus gets closest to the earth on its orbit around the Sun.

I think that your quizzes are the best that I have come across. I have debated long and hard over the last 10 weeks whether I should comment about this, but you have turned the butchery of pronunciations into an art form. This is not a personal attack but hopefully a constructive criticism that you may wish to address. I am sure Adrian that you and I would pronounce those names differently. A Russian may well pronounce Khrushchev that way but a Yorkshireman might not. I think Detormentis does a brilliant job of pronunciation under often difficult circumstances. 👍

Actually Sean there is a subspecies of sea otter that is native to the Caribbean Sea and along the Atlantic coasts of Central and North America. Latin name is, Enhydra lutris atlanticus. I investigated this because I have seen them swimming and feeding near my seaside home in Newfoundland, Canada.
