I have the 50" version, from a Prime Day sale. It's a great TV. I got a Sony soundbar and then spent about 20 minutes on the phone with a support person to get the darn TV talk to the sound bar. It worked great after that. Later, I plugged the sound bar into my 65" LG TV that is about two years old. The TV popped up a message that a speaker system was plugged into HDMI 2, asking if I wanted it to direct the audio over to the sound bar. True plug-n-play. That's the only thing I've found so far that I didn't like with the TCL.

Fantastic review.You set standards that others should follow.Right to thr point.So many reviews drag on time FOREVER just to get more ads on,esp unboxing videos.They show every inch of the box before opening.THEN,they take foreverto get shrink wrap,open box ,show you every piece of packaging,ect.THEN,which is probably most frustrating,they go page by page of instruction manual.Whew,im done.😂Just a fantastic and honest look.Convinced me to get this one.

Great review!!! Thank you. Hey question, when scrolling through Netflix movies does yours lag?? Just bought this tv today but the 43" and every other app works just fine but not Netflix, any suggestions or what is causing this issue? Ohh and how are your angle views?!? Does the pic wash out? Ours does... I read the 5 series it does not wash out and angle views are as clear as standing right in front of it. I would appreciate any thoughts on these! Thanks! 😊
@TheReviewGuideChannel3 жыл бұрын
Hmm. I don’t experience a lag with mine. Maybe the system needs an update? The picture does indeed wash out a little bit because it is not an IPS panel. The 5-series is a bit more expensive, so of course you get what you pay for.
@JimmyG32373 жыл бұрын
@@TheReviewGuideChannel Thank you! I might go with the 5 series, I don't know yet...have to watch more reviews. Washout angle views really bothers me alot...so I need to look for one with an IPS panel? Hmmmm. 😊
@TheReviewGuideChannel3 жыл бұрын
Yes, however picture quality in terms of contrast is USUALLY better with VA panels (the one the TCL 4-series is). So it’s a give and take.

@@TheReviewGuideChannel I'm so undecided! My wife is gonna kill me! LOL 😂, So if you were me right now, which would you choose? The 4 series or the 5 series? Both in 43" .... Thank you again! 😊
@TheReviewGuideChannel3 жыл бұрын
The 5 series is a step above the 4 series. Which also means it is a step up in price. It is also still a VA panel so the viewing angles are only slightly better. So, they are both great TV’s you just again get what you pay for.

I want to thank you for this video. I've been trying to get an affordable 4k tv with some of the new bells and whistles (120 hz, hdmi 2.1, vrr, etc) to no success due to low most models I have interest in selling out. Visuals look great for gaming, live tv, and movies. I have it linked to a nice vizio soundbar and my alexa so I can issue voice commands to it. All in all a great investment and I have you to thank for it 😀 My only regret is I was unable to get a series 6 at the time due to lack of supplies at my local best buy (which I hear is even better) But I have to say the Series 4 wows me in terms to what it brings to the table. 😄
