Hi Mari, I better mention to please be extra careful when checking the Willard library. It is a beautiful building over 100 years old, but it is also known to be haunted. Certainly adds to the flavour of the place anyway. all the best from Robert.

Pad Thai is also my favorite! That makes me want to go back to Bangkok! I also hate slow walkers in NYC. It irks me to no end....it also makes it hard to walk in other places around the world because no one walks as fast as us!

Come to Istanbul! We have the oldest libraries here! You definitely should visit Istanbul too before ending your world tour. You said you had a culture shock in Australia after south east countries. After seeing both west and east Istanbul will be very interesting for you. Because Istanbul is not an eastern city but not a western city either. Istanbul is the crossroads of the world! You can switch between continents with one step. From asia to europe with a 5 minute walk. There is so much to see here from rich history with legendary adventures and libraries and museums of Ottoman Empire to modern republic life...

I was a strict fruitarian for 5 months, didn't even drink any water--but by the end of my trip to Central America, I came across this restaurant serving beef soup (forgot the name). It had cassava, corn, taro, and of course beef, all those things that I loved, especially non-U.S beef. Its meat was flavorful, and I said to myself, "F it, the cow is already dead, I might as well eat it." And I did. It was good. Now, I eat meat about once or twice a week. I still consume mostly fruits (80%r), even though they fruits were picked way before maturity. Can't wait to fly to Asia this May where fruits are abundant. I'll see if I'll return to be a fruitarian again.
